It is no secret anymore that India invaded and brutally annexed number of its neighboring states as soon as it became independent from the British. Nagaland is one of the those nations who declared independence from the British after their long struggles of freedom, however there was this Brahminical bully called India who launched military invasion of Nagas thus pushing Nagas towards militancy.

Nagas who had been fighting British invaders for centuries are now fighting the Indians for the last 70 years, all for them to preserve their unique national identity. However, as the struggle goes, Nagas never forget to cherish the day they declared themselves independent.

It was 14th of August, 1947 when Nagas along with Pakistanis declared independence. Unfortunately, because Pakistan was a much larger state with so much power potential, the independence of the Nagas which also took place the same date, were overshadowed and ignored from the public eyes.

Today is 14th of August, 2020 and Nagas are celebrating the day with full zeal and honor, many Naga leaders have come forward to announce that they will celebrate the Naga independence day with Pakistan in order to establish solid bilateral relationship and regional cooperation.

To conclude I am feeling elated that our boyz have done a brilliant job deep inside Indian territory. Setting up such a well organised armed outfit with massive local support is not a small feat. Keep it up need more of these to dismantle the artificial state that has forcefully occupied the lands of many nations including ours. :pakistan::pakistan::pakistan::pakistan::pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

First pic looks photoshopped.

That aside, this is a perfect example of how the eternally democratic and secular and peace loving, rule of law adhering republic of India simply annexed another state through force of arms and overwhelming numbers. Junagadh, Kashmir, Nagaland, Hyderabad...

Nice thoughts and alliances, but ain't happening, their population may be way fierce, but too small in number.

Let me tell you one thing. The interaction that I have had with people from Nagaland has taught me that the Indian state won’t ever be able to control this region. Nagaland has the potential of creating internal unrest in Hindustan.

It may seem like that, but I did a reverse image search and it looks legit, It's probably because they had to do with the little resources/ time constraints... so obviously it's not going to be a perfect representation of our National Flag.

were the ceremony held inside india? if so, what an unbelieveable scence.

They are a fiercely independent people and quite educated too. India doesn't want an insurgency in Nagaland.

For now India is happy with cajoling and bribing their leaders to some extent.

Eventually at some point, Nagaland will break away from India, but time is not ripe yet.
