Nabil release secret docs about Pakistan’s support to Afghan militants
By KHAAMA PRESS - Fri Jul 15 2016, 8:47 am

The former Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS) Chief, Rahmatullah Nabil has released classified documents about the support of Pakistan to the Afghan militant groups, specifically the notorious Haqqani terrorist network.

The six documents released by Nabil include formal letters by Pakistani military and the military intelligence of the country, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

Nabil says the Haqqani network not only remained intact from Zarb-e-Azb operations but the Pakistani military shifted the network’s fighters, families, weapons and other equipment to safe places.

He said the Afghan and American intelligence agencies were undoubtedly aware of the move and National Directorate of Security has hundreds of classified documents of the Pakistani military regarding its support to Afghan militants.

A summary of the six letters released by Nabil is as following:

According to Nabil, the first classified document he has shared is regarding the relocation of Haqqani terrorist network commanders to Miranshah in North Waziristan as Inam Rabbani belonging to MI-422 in Peshawar formally informs Gen. Khalid the head of MI-22 regarding the move amid Zarb-e-Azb operations.

The second document is regarding the current condition of the Haqqani terrorist network as CTC in Islamabad sent a formal letter to CTC in Nowshera asking regarding the personnel and commanders of the network based in Nowshera, Mardan and Swabi.

The letter states that the central office of ISI has instructed the 945 and 935 departments to bring the Haqqani network militants to Miranshah, Tochi and Mir Ali under the escort of the military.

ISI has also instructed the relevant authorities to ensure the security of the families of the Haqqani network commanders until they reach Miranshah.

The third document is regarding a formal letter by MI in Islamabad to MI-422 regarding the arrangement of accommodation for two Taliban commanders identified as Hafiz Gulbahar and Mawlavi Hamdullah who were displaced due to operations and had shifted to Hayatabad in Peshawar.

The fourth document is regarding an attack on military airport in Hamid Karzai International Airpot in Kabul.

The letter states that ISI has hailed the individuals involved in the successful attack on the airport and instructs to offer 2.5 million Pakistani ruppees for each of the individuals involved in the attack.

The individuals involved in the attack have been identified as Haji Khalil Haqqani, Haji Hakim Woloswal, Qari Zahir Shah and Mawlavi Hakim.

The fifth document is regarding a formal letter issued by SI 945 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instructing the Haqqani terrorist network to kidnap or assassinate the Shi’ite leaders in Herat, Kabul and Farah province of Afghanistan.

The sixth document is regarding a formal letter issued by ISI office in Quetta to IW in Islamabad and 945 in Rawalpindi regarding the visit of ISI officers from Quetta council. The visit was aimed at discussing peace talks between Afghan government and the Taliban group and what should be the conditions of the group.

I am sick and tired of the seeing current and former Afghan officials come out of their holes every few days to sling mud at Pakistan, with the only response from our government being sheepish denials coming out several days later.

The government has failed on many fronts, but we've seen the most blatant collapse in the area of foreign affairs. We saw this failure a while ago when Ashraf Ghani traveled to Europe where he commenced the usual whining about Pakistan, even going on to demand international isolation and sanctions. How does the Foreign Affairs Ministry respond to an outright demand for the isolation of the country??? Claim Ghani's words are 'regretful' and once again 'extend an offer of cooperation' to Afghanistan.

If these docs are true and not photoshoped then your government has lot to explain not only to the world but also to its people.. Think rationally before replying..dont reply with an outburst of emotion than an indian is posting something.

Anyone can release fake documents and make absurd claims.

One thing is becoming certain. Afghans don't want cooperation and peace with Pakistan They are towing the Indian line. We're fine with that. The Afghans should take their refugees back. That's the least a nation can do which claims to have a conflict with the opposing party.

Come on, don't talk about 'thinking rationally' when you immediately turn to the assumption that these documents are true. There's obviously a bias involved in your judgement and you should admit it right now.

Take note, that while these are 'secret' documents used by a covert intelligence agency, they are explicit in mentioning the names of the planners, operatives, and locations involved in ISI-projects.

LMAO when ISI issues formal letter to Afghani taliban in English who cant even understand abc.
even afghanis know that its called "jarga" or "shoura" (a special name for meeting) which is formal to afghan.

There are certain parties on this forum and across the world which are too...er....lets say lacking in the brains department to understand such intricacies, and will take these documents at face value.

Now I think of it, I'm also puzzled why the former chief of the NDS is in the possession of such documents. Guess there's little to no protocol in the Afghan government regarding these things. Might help explain why the Afghans are failing in defeating this insurgency.

Its time for Afghan govt to fight seriously with Taliban . These type of letters will not help eliminate Taliban from Afghanistan. They need to help Pakistan to secure the border , then start full throttle operation against insurgency.
Taliban is curse neither they friends of Pakistan nor they have any sympathy with present Afghan govt. They have their own agenda.

I noted the unusual way these letters are written detailing about supporting terrorist, thats why I didnt directly started blaming your government ( like we all do to each others government). Rather I started my post with "If these docs are true and not photoshoped"....Again you missed the condition which I attached to my post but straight away jumped to rational thinking part...

I think he forgot to add official ISI logo

Who in the right mind would think that Pakistan would have any official written or verbal communique between ISI and Taliban. These incompetent afghan idiots cant even scheme properly .

The word secret at the Top made it even more convincing :omghaha:
