NAB has challenged the Islamabad High Court’s decision to suspend the Sharif family’s prison sentences awarded in the Avenfield reference.

In its appeal filed to the Supreme Court, the bureau says the high court doesn’t have the jurisdiction to make such a decision under Article 199 of the Constitution.

Article 199 refers to the jurisdiction of the high courts.

NAB has asked the top court to overturn the decision.

Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar were released from Adiala Jail on September 19 after the Islamabad High Court suspended their sentences.

They were sentenced to 10, seven and one year respectively by an accountability court.

. .
if we not recover any amount from them then it is better not to waste tax money by keeping them in jail as lot of money is wasted by giving them security in jail so better their house is regarded as jail so they bear expenses by their own means

. . .
Accountability should be across the board. So far NAB has proved to be inept and bias.:taz:
yeah . nab should arrest zardari tola too .

they should be jailed again . ameer k liye alag qanoon ni hona chaiye .

. .
Why not just send them to gallows and be done with it? IK launched Clean Green Pakistan campaign and I think killing napak suwars should part of the campaign
How old are you kid?.Seem very emotional by your posts. You need to calm down before we descend into a civil war by the hatred pumped in us by shallow leaders.:big_boss:

ameer k liye alag qanoon ni hona chaiye .
They also shouldnt get VIP treatment in jail! I mean my blood boiled when I saw them taking "rounds" (looking at jail kitchen, briefed about how food is being cooked and got media recording it- like WTH?) being shown around the jail as though they went to "visit" it instead of being punished!

What sort of a punishment is Pakistan giving them by paying for elite stuff in jail as punishment? We are a poor country where loadshedding is common and half the population cant afford A/C so why is our tax money being wasted on their A/C?

In my opinion they should be charged for the room/ services / bills if they want a VIP room! We shouldnt give them anything coz ameer k liyea alag qanoon nai ho na chahiyea! Live like the local criminal because then only will it be punishment otherwise it is a "jail visit"

Hope it's not a bloody half hearted effort, when it comes to these swines NAB has to leave itall on the field or else history and coming generations will never forgive or forget their ineptitude. Kudos bhai

I know Insha Allah Nawaz and family will go back to jail.

But right now we cant trust Punjab Police because they are corrupt to the core. IK already complaining about their lack of cooperation.

So it is better to shift Nawaz and family to a jail in KPK where the police is neutral and not corrupt.

Why not just send them to gallows and be done with it? IK launched Clean Green Pakistan campaign and I think killing napak suwars should part of the campaign
Your idea is brilliant !!!! But we need our stolen money first. :partay:
