Are all village roads hardened? What is the name of the "tier-4" city in your photo? Looks nice.

All village roads are hardened in China, in 2004, A project called, coverage to every village, started and 97% finished in 2006, road, internet, phone signal, Tv, Electric power,Water et al Must coverage to every village.
In 2010, another improvement plan called coverage to every home started, means the road must reach the door of every home, the trash clection system can collect every home's trash.
For city class, there are several class degree , 19 tier-1 cities (biggest city), 30 tier 2 cities, 70 tier 3, 90 tier 4, 129 tier 5, other small cities are tier6

Thanks for the information. I don't have much first hand experience in rural China. Glad to know "Connecting All Village" (村村通 I assume?) and "Connecting All Homes" (户户通?)programs. It is a big job!

Just curious, how is the health care and pension system for older people in the villages? At what age they are qualified to receive pension, same as in the city at 50/55/60 year-old?

. . . . . . . .
@xuxu1457 is wearing facemask a mandatory thing for being out in public in China right now?
The government says low-risk areas can decide for themselves whether to wear masks.
But ordinary people usually wear masks in public places.
Some people wear half a mask and pull it up when they are close to others.
Most people feel embarrassed to go out without a mask now.
