I came across(Both on internet and real life) a lot of Muslim Indian who pretend to be descendants of Arab, Persians, Turks etc etc. These guys adopt foreign surnames and make up stories of how and when their ancestors immigrated to India. All of them claim that they have kept their bloodline pure by marrying within their tribe. What's surprising is that both North Indian Muslims and South Indian Muslims indulge in such behavior. A lot of naive Hindus even the sanghi ones buy their stories.
I am going to debunk their fictional claims.
Chaushs of Hyderabad
These guys claim to be yemeni Arabs. They even claim to preserved their culture and distinct identity.
Meet Mohammad Pehlwan the most famous yemeni hyderabadi. He was the one to get Akrabuddin Owaisi stabbed in 2011.
This is how he looks. Like an average South Indian
This is an Arab reporter visiting hyderabad to meet these fake arabs hyderabad. Notice how no one in the video looks like her. They look like your average south Indians. Although they tried their best to dress up as Arabs.
Now let's cross over to North India. Almost every Muslim in North India claims to have foreign ancestors.
Qureshis
These guys pretend to be from the legendary Qureshi tribe from which prophet of Islam belonged to. These guys are Brahmins of Muslim Indians. Highest of high. Ask a qureshi guy about his ancestory he would tell you the exact century and date his forefathers immigrated to India.

Moin Qureshi. Looks like your average UP guy.
Phoney Qureshis who were converts from Kasai Hindu caste. Still practise their ancient occupation. They still dominate meat business in India.
Ansaris
These dudes claim to be descendants of the legendary Ansari tribe of Arabia.
This is the most famous ansari atm in India. A Muslim litigant named Iqbal Ansari in babri masjid case.
Siddiquis
Ask them and they will tell you that they are from the tribe of Abu Bakr.
Now let's take a look two famous siddiquis.
An ex MP named Shahid Siddiqui who attends many tv debates.
Even with all the make up, he still looks like a Mallu.
This is other famous actor named Nawazuddin Sidduqui who faced the brunt of Bollywood's racism because of dark complexion and short stature. Even with make up looks no different from Tamil actors.
