Exactly. Muslims who will obey the law of the land, behave well wherever they are a minority, wont indulge in terrorist activities, will respect religious freedom and be tolerant towards other faiths should definitely be treated like any other human being.

However extremist Muslims who will try to enforce Shariah law, attack and threaten the majority being a minority e.g India, Sri lanka and Myanmar, disobey the law of the land e.g ban on burqa, attack and threaten people of other faiths should be dealt with iron hands.

In 1910, there were 24 million Muslims in China. In 2010, there were still 24 million Muslims in China

Meanwhile, global Islam SEPTUPLED in size (mA) during same time period. Septupled = increased by seven folds (7X)

Moreover, according to Chinese own government figures, Uighurs and Hui Muslims have higher fertility rates than Chinese for past many decades.

So in essence, we don't even know exactly how many Muslims are there in China. It most definitely more than 24 million but exact number is not known since it is a very sensitive topic. For Christians, we have very good statistical data from third parties. Christians in China are like 3-5% of population. But no such statistical estimate exists for Muslim Chinese....
