I m representing my views here.

Don't really care whether it matches with urs and majority of others views or not.

I m strictly against blasphemy law which can be used to persecute religious minorities and settle personal vendetta in practice. Everybody should be punished and is getting punished in Bangladesh for hurting religious sentiment regardless of their faith as per prescribed law of Bangladesh. This blasphemy law has no place in our country.

I am against blasphemy law. People have the right to criticize and believe whatever they want. At most I would argue or laugh at them.

I believe in democracy and freedom of express, where the extend of freedom should be shaped by democracy and change naturally over time.

But some people have bad agenda of disrupting the harmony which is not acceptable.

Indeed they have this right to criticize something that they disagree or that is not their kind! But they can't insult it ( faith and sentiment) . You must understand the difference between criticism and insult ; they are not the same thing but totally different. So yes productive criticism is fine and allowed, but insult is never ever allowed !

If someone directly defame you or your parents, you will just not laugh at them, but you will take legal action.

You probably know that Muslims love and honor muhammad (pbuh) more than their parents. Maybe many will try to put logic against it, but whatever it is the fact, that will not change!

So better everyone should live in reality other than putting negative logic and launch argument based on such decided matters! You can't change peoples faith and feelings for your so called freedom of expression in the end!

Again disbelief and dishonor/insult is not and can't be the same thing! So anyone can believe in him or disbelief him as a messenger of Allah, that's their choice but they can not dishonor him ( prophet (pbuh)) .

Dishonoring prophet ( pbuh) is not a part of freedom of speech and democracy, but it's a filthy kind of crime against the whole muslim nation, so no muslim is allowed to tolerate such kind of insult to prophet (pbuh ).

I thought you know this simple truth, since you are a muslim; a muslim is bound to protest such insult, so you can't remain silent totally , you must condemn it, yes of course peacefully!

There are other productive things to do in their life other than agitating billions of peoples intentionally.

Although of course I am not supporting their demand of capital punishment, but we have our own law related to this issue and the offender of Rasulullah (pbuh) will be punished under this law!

It is ridiculous to ask for someone to be hanged because they defamed the prophet.

If he has in fact offended against religion then he will be punished but with a fine or a custodial sentence of some kind.

Thankfully the "hang-em" brigade is a minority in tolerant BD.
