Mushraff Worried by Pakistans $90 billion debt & CPEC debt interest

ok if its more then (which is not, confirmed by ministry of planing ) how much $11 billions will become in 8% interest where when oil trade starts pakistan will receives $5 billion only to transfer oil from gwadar to china
If you take a loan of 1 crore on 8% for 30 years, you'll end up paying a total of about 2.3 crore. And here the rumor is that the rate is much higher. All the goods passing through gawadar and CPEC you'll get maybe 1% of value. I'm guessing the oil, if going through pipeline will get you even less.
1) taxes on the products
2) toll taxes
3) taxes on the cargo ships

and as far as is know it will be about 40% on a product (no duties are added)

Generally you'll get only toll because you're only a transit hub, maybe some additional service charges for ship and cargo services. But you're claim that you'll get 40% indicates to me that someone has tried that trick. This means someone has used this fraudulent approach to justify a payout of high ROI in the rangs of, say, 27%?

goods coming on gwadar (taxes on ships) goods going from pakistan to china (toll taxes and for a cargo truck which is about 1000 rs per/toll stations) goods going to china (no taxes due to free trade agreement) but goods going to iran, turkey, tajakistan, and in middle east and africa (which is the real purpose of the project) taxes on their products(taxes are about 21% but can be different for different products without toll charges) and also new indutrial zones which will be going to setup and power project to over come energy shortage and boosts pakistan economy

Musharaf has some valid point. If road and port being built for use of mainly China then it should Chinese direct investment.Surprisingly China got a big deal and what Pakistan will get no body knows but with 8 % interest after 30 years 75 billion will became 160 billion dollars. Even if Pakistan gets 1 billion dollar per year which is unlikely it cannot repay the loan from earnings of cpec.

Pakistan is not only paying for the Chinese but giving them bonus on top of that and Deploying a Division strong Army to make sure Chinese do It without any problem- Similar to Sri lanka where the Srilankans paid for Hambantota and gifted that to the Chinese- And Its not even being sugar coated It is blunt right on the face yet the amount of praise by Pakistanis is quiet outstanding-

1) taxes on the products

And you are saying Pakistan will get all these- These are supposed to be payment for the Chinese loans- China will get all that money and since It will be 40% according to you- No country will find it economically feasible and all the burden would be on Pakistani traders and population-

I am sorry to say- as the time passes It looks more and more like East India Company-

you should go back to school

investment is about $35 billion and $11 billion are loan with 2% interest rate

bullshit.. Musharraf himself is saying he is lay man and not an economist. someone is feeding him wrong or he is purposefully saying this just like Nawaz Sharif used to say we lost thousands of soldiers in Kargil while fact is we lost 3 to 400 soldiers..

we have parliamentary and senate committees comprises of both treasury and opposition on CPEC to look into these matters. what more do we need to calm tits of eastern bhangis??

You gangalanders will remain miserable as i dont see Pakistan leaving CPEC.. you will spend rest of your miserable lives editing Pakistani videos of anti govt anchors..

in many talk show musharraf also said his only source of information is through media if he was in government he could have more knowledge about the internal situation of pakistani politics

and musharraf is an military commander not a politician

I can assure you that for products going into iran, turkey etc. will also invite only toll duty. You are a gateway only. Why would anyone pay you taxes for that? Not juts you, even more prominent conduits like Panama canal the payout is by the ship (not even by value of product). Probably that's the most rationalized structure anyway- No. of Trucks x price per truck, additional port charges if applicable. If you don't get the total cost down your price per unit of power will also be very very high.

please learn about trading and taxes
every ship have to pay taxes when they arrive to a certain port every product have taxes on it(just like sales tax on every product, but taxes can vary from product to product) when a cargo truck carrying goods enter or leaves a country it have to pay taxes and when passing through a country there are toll taxes combine all of it its estimate about 40%(can be low or high depeds upon product type)

and rest i already told

that seems logical. Pakistan maybe entitled to collect protection money if they want to... atlast its PA who is protecting the entire investment of the infrastructure...

Our point of view was about previous debt though CPEC investment does not included in this but to the some extent, may be Musharraf mixed it up. However, debt is around 75 and once CPEC reached the point of full swing, I see debt decline quickly as this project alone is going to pay a-lot. Remember, our ruling party FM is not a trust worthy/true person when it comes to finance etc as for political points scoring, can go to any limit hence, can lie big.
No benefit will ccome to people of Pakistan until blood sucking leaches are at the top slots in govt. Look at Nigeria, it is a major oil producing country but its people are poor.

Assuming From where from your rear ?

Secondly Typical Indian ! Cpec Is not just a road. Third what does it concern an Indian hindu whats happens in Pakistan. Mind your own fking bsuiness dude. To many gobby heads worried about Pakistan rather than worrying what cheap Goon of RSS are doing

1. If everything that Pakistan will be paying to China is in Black and White and already is in public domain and there is nothing what Pakistan will be getting in form of revenues. Then one can only assume from ones rear :p:

2. If any Indian Hindu is giving you something to ponder then analyse it before rubbishing it outright. CPEC is projected as a saviour of Pakistan's economy, therefore it is in your interest to ask question to your establishment and your Government and demand truth to be made public.

3. One thing you can definitely learn from the cheap goons of RSS is how not to sell your country to foreigners.

This interview is nothing more than an opportunity for political point scoring. The anchor is a known opponent of the current regime and his analysis is based more on fiction than on actual facts. And the former President needs to hang up his boots and retire from public life. His much touted economic performance was based on America's WOT funds and not any wide ranging economic policy shift that can be attributed to hm. The flow of funds into Pakistan was not redirected into large scale manufacturing or savings but instead allowed into real estate and consumer finance. He failed to build kalabagh dam and installed power projects that ran on gasoline. He was indirectly responsible for much of the economic downturn post 2008. hence, I would not take his advice on economic management very seriously.
