Musharraf signs Women’s Rights Bill ISLAMABAD, Dec 1 (AP) President Gen. Pervez Musharraf Friday gave assent to the Women’s Rights Bill passed earlier by both Houses of the Parliament. ``Now it has become law,'' Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sher Afghan said in a nationally televised broadcast. ``It has been done to safeguard the rights of women.''
