Muhammad Mian Somro, the Chairman of Senate was informed within minutes of her abduction. Asad Ashrif Malik (IG) called and inquired about the issue in next few minutes. Somro later told her mother that Afia was taken to America.

Dr. Afia is Pakistani and even after living 15 years in America, both sisters didn't apply for green-card or US passport. Such a pity such patriotic daughter of country is sold by him/his government.

When Musharaf is willing to say all about Kashmir and what Paksitan did on that, why is he refusing to Admit the reality on that & speak truth to the countrymen. He has specifically LIED about her.

WHY???? What is so important about her and why is Musharaf so loyal to USA that he can speak the truth that may harm Pakistan but cannot go against anything that goes against American "interest". THINK!

Dr Afia is an american citizen by her own free will and nobody gives a dim witt to what her mother is going to reveal. Its an ideal case scenerio when a country wanted its citizen for xyz charges who had fled abroad and the government of country where wanted was residing simply complied in good diplomatic manners.

Lets keep Pakistan, Mushraff, Zardari, Gilani and Qoosori out of this!

They cannot.she became an american citizen by choice not as a political refugee..we will be tainting our own record by doing so. The world will get a message that we like to support terrorits!

She was a citizen. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get into a university here without being a citizen? Not that it isn't impossible, but if she needed financial aid, which most people opt for, she also would have to be citizen.

15 years without applying for greencard/citizenship? Haha, right. And the cow jumped over the moon.

We should also ask for Faisal Shahzad's repatriation, as he was "son of our Nation." LOL

It has to do some thing with Musharraf launching his political party.
I find it funny that Musharraf was not president for the last three years it was joint rule of Sharif and Zardari they should have discharged their duties better and should have pointed out to US that she is not american like the ambassador Haqqani.

Nearly 1,20,000 students visit American just from India and China alone and that every year. Now look at your assumption and rethink on it. Has USA offered them all Nationality or are they getting Green Cards before getting admission there?

Second, her sister is in Pakistan and she is Pakistani National. She has also lived nearly same duration in America. Your childish argument gets answered from the same home.

Why do we resist and why are we trying to deny facts? Dr. Afia is Pakistani, she was abuducted with her kids along.. a Pakistani Nation who was abducted in Paksitan and taken to America, there alleged for attacking on American soldiers after 5 years of being abducted and then sentenced for 86 years. Is there no sense in us anymore? In love of Musharaf or somebody, or a party, are we gone out of senses to think this is indeed a matter of great tradegy and National pride?

In INDIA, for Queen Elizbath wearing Kohinoor, they protest and wanted her not to open games.. and here, our alive National with kids is abducted from our territory and we are still trying to find JUSTIFICATIONS? PRETENDING as she was Osama Bin Ladin! Even if she was, who gave Americans right to do that with her???? Is Self-Respect and National Pride dead in us?????

Why is there resistance and why we refuse to accept responsibility of people involved in it?? WHY?? She is a Pakistani citizen!

No one can get american citizenship without applying for it and that is choice and application can be filed under political refuge or some thing else.

Pakistan allow dual citizenship rights.

How is she "quom ki beti"?
Are all those women and girls effected by floods/earth quake not quom ki betis who genuinely hold Pakistani Citizenship? what makes afia so special?

PS. where was her mother and the lot when she was allegedly abducted? Why didn't they ask for help during the first week of her so called abduction but only revealed it after news came from afghanistan of her being caught.

I think she went to afghanistan for a once in a life time big shot for $dollars that she could earn once and for all and jump back to us and life a lavish life. Things turned ugly when she got caught and all the plan gone down the drain and after that her mother and supporters came forward blaming former Govt.

I advise afia's supporters to see through open mind, I do agree the conviction of 86 years is wrong it should have been 15 years max, but you people too don't have any evidence against former Govt as well as all the rant babbling and blaming started after she was discovered in afghanistan before that when she was missing her mother and close supporters were totally silent that raises another question.

And how many of those 120,000 apply for financial aid? People don't come here JUST to study. There is absolutely NO SENSE in living here for 15 years and not even glancing at greencard/citizenship.
