Was reading this piece which pointed out some governments had announced the plan was in serious consideration. Would make sense for the US side to desire such a military presence in Syria, seeing as Trump's brainless son-in-law abused his White House privileges to coordinate the highly idiotic embargo against Qatar and was also likely the only reason for the Trump administration deciding it'd be a great idea to provoke NATO member Turkey by announcing a 'border force of SDF Kurds' in late 2017. Their heavy push utilizing the various Wahabi groups they'd been cultivating since 2007-2008 (the 'Redirection' strategy as Hersh outlined) as a counter to a bloc led by Shia Iran didn't produce regime change in Syria, the SDF is a classical failure by now so they're going to try and use this grand alliance of munafiq countries to try and act as a platform for US presence.
I sincerely hope Pakistan doesn't partake in this. I don't credit General Raheel 'thanks be upon him' Shareef with any degree of honour or dignity (he was, after all, seated next to Netanyahu's great friend Jared Kushner during the 2017 munafiqeen alliance summit, which should've demonstrated how 'Islamic' it really is) but please, do not put Pakistani troops there. Don't dig up our past disgraceful legacy as a country that blows hard about Islamic unity yet forges close relations only with sell-out states and countries. Assisting in the partition of Syria would only help the most violent, expansionist state in the region which is Israel.
