What's new

Muhammed Morsi of Egypt

if you are well informed you should know that iran hated talibans guts because of the massacre of the diplomats and crimes against shia afghan people i suppose you are also aware iran massed around 200.000 soldiers on the iran afghanistan border ready to invade and topple the taliban militias only to be called back at the last minute by the supreme leader
if any country is going to act like a thug especially towards shia people or people with close ideology to iran they will be confronted wether it be US israel india bangladesh mars, moon etc you fail to understand this simple issue

Yes, I remember that incident when Taliban and Iran almost went to war. I am not going to get into the middle of this issue, but remember that Afghans have their own version of that incident opposite to yours. Suffice to say that your diplomats also antagonized Taliban as well.

Now they are back in power and it would be best for Iran to make peace with both Taliban and Pakistan and move on.

My issue here is the false history being promoted against Morsi of Egypt and trying to paint him as a Zionist stooge, which he was not. Actually because of his desire to help the people of Gaza lift the siege and to renegotiate the treaty with Israel, he was toppled and murdered.

Brother, he was the most pro-Iran of any Egyptian government. He reached out to Iran to repair ties with Sunni and Shia world. If he had stayed in power, sectarianism would not have destroyed us as it did.

He was a threat to zionist bosses and their US slave.

I have hope that we will again see a light coming from Arab world, which will reach out to us all. We need to end this foolish bickering and work on establishing some kind of detente here.

I am so sad to see Turkey and Iran fighting each other for Assad atheist scum. We need a solution, Russians and Americans need to be kicked out of the Muslim world.

We Muslims are mature enough to fix all our problems with discussions. If Aws and Khazraj can make peace, we can also.

Now Iran begins to support India against Pakistan, this upsets all Pakistanis who consider Iran as our blood brother. What is happening?

@RB200

I remember the statement of Bashar Al Assad when Morsi was deposed by Gen Sisi, and it still rings in my ears today. He said this, "Failure of Morsi in Egypt proves that Islam is dead as a political ideology."

Now how does the Islamic Republic of Iran feel about this statement of Bashar?

Hehe! worst president? :'D

Sometimes I feel really glad that the current president is Sisi, seriously wallah, you know why? because of the taxes of the high prices he imposes .. the dollar in morsi's era = about 6 to 7 EGP , now it will reach 17 soon. prices of product are going hiiiiiiiiiigh way to hell. and his supporters are complaining, oh we can't eat, oh the prices are high .. haven't you people elected sisi and support the coup? ok, here is your president, accept him with his good and bad.

i remember about that morsi was not hostile to iran infact he came personally to tehran to try to unify iran with egypt and the wider sunni world. he was a good man. about allegations him being a US stooge i dont know but his actions were positive in general but also his reign was too short we dont know wether he would remain consistent or anything. in any way rip to him

about assad you know what most iranians think about this issue the sight of the most barbaric hordes of fanatics would give everyone the chills even among the wider suni world the ''syrian'' opposition had no real legitimacy im pretty sure about this otherwise the outcome would have been very different considering the global sunni shia population ratio. this was not about assad but syria as a country and rules and legitimacy of a nation state the killings of syrian people was very sad really sad and i condemn it in strongest terms and i wish all the victims rip or a speedy recovery but its not rly that simple this war was flamed by muslim people themselves in any way.

Many of my Egyptian friends had relatives and friends who had to leave Egypt after the coup. Tourism industry collapsed and corruption increased. Fuel shortage imposed by critics of Morsi became even worse under Sisi, despite KSA official support. Egypt even gifted two islands to KSA to pay off loans.

The biggest challenge for Egypt today is Ethiopia damming the Nile, yet here Egypt is focused on Libya and Turkey. Shame.

I completely understand your misgivings about Syrian MB. I know them very well, they are evil people. Remember the siege of Hama (look it up.) They are capable of all of what Iran accused them, however Assad regime is just as brutal. Therein lies the problem, there were no good guys in Syria.

However now with Turkey seizing control of rebel groups and moderating them, you now have seen MB lose influence and power.

There needs to be a political solution to Syria which involves both Turkey and Iran only. I don't trust Russians or Americans at all, they have ulterior motives.

Until that happens, I support Turkey taking more parts of Syria and resettling refugees there.

In sha Allah, I pray Iran gains a more sensible and less hardliner government after Rouhani, because Turkey and Pakistan need to be on the same page with Iran to withstand the coming challenges in our region.

Sisi counts on alliance (Italy, greece and cyprus) .. the last 2 are pieces of shit countries, that's why he moved for Italy and made this mega billions deal with it ... sisi is facing many problems including the ethiopian dam, the turkish problem about gas and internal problems (high prices, debt etc). this moron will probably be assassinated or die a peaceful death by the army itself when they finally find out that he is dragging egypt to the unknown.

everyone made mistakes but the only losers here have been muslims only while the white men is sneakily laughing their butts of and making huge profits the average muslim is giving blood
i also believe that the wider muslim world is dependent on 2 nations iran and turkey these two nations can both positively influence the state of muslims in the middle east at the minimum unfortunetly the other arab countries are either in the pocket of the americans or are too incompetent to do anything useful
iran and turkey need somekind of a big deal covering the entire region only then we can see some positive changes

.
There are no shia in Egypt to be prosecuted, that few number of egyptian shias probably escaped after the coup.
A military coup sponsored by saudis is not a heaven for shias.

there is no way egypt is a safe place for minorties not even the christians. and we are no afro country, just by location but no one likes here to be called african.
we thought Morsi is friend at first but he himself chose to not be friend.

Yes, and Pakistan is rising also. Three of us are the main target of US. Think about it, Trump was alternating tweets against us.

. . .
Did Morsi kill that guy?

An Egyptian Shia leader being lynched by some mobs.

Unfortunately many groups began the coup against Morsi by targetting and attacking Sunni masajid. It was a chaotic time and the perfect justification Sisi needed to stage a coup, with support of all Copt, Salafi, seculars, military, other groups.
