Mr. Obama, we are not ‘free riders’

No, Mr. Obama. We are not “free riders.” We shared with you our intelligence that prevented deadly terrorist attacks on America.

We initiated the meetings that led to the coalition that is fighting Fahish (ISIL), and we train and fund the Syrian freedom fighters, who fight the biggest terrorist, Bashar Assad and the other terrorists, Al-Nusrah and Fahish (ISIL). We offered boots on the ground to make that coalition more effective in eliminating the terrorists.

We initiated the support — military, political and humanitarian — that is helping the Yemeni people reclaim their country from the murderous militia, the Houthis, who, with the support of the Iranian leadership, tried to occupy Yemen; without calling for American forces. We established a coalition of more than thirty Muslim countries to fight all shades of terrorism in the world.

We are the biggest contributors to the humanitarian relief efforts to help refugees from Syria, Yemen and Iraq. We combat extremist ideology that attempts to hijack our religion, on all levels. We are the sole funders of the United Nations Counter-terrorism Center, which pools intelligence, political, economic, and human resources, worldwide. We buy US treasury bonds, with small interest returns, that help your country’s economy.

We send thousands of our students to your universities, at enormous expense, to acquire knowledge and knowhow. We host over 30,000 American citizens and pay them top dollar in our businesses and industry for their skills. Your secretaries of state and defense have often publicly praised the level of cooperation between our two countries.

Your treasury department officials have publicly praised Saudi Arabia’s measures to curtail any financing that might reach terrorists. Our King Salman met with you, last September, and accepted your assurances that the nuclear deal you struck with the Iranian leadership will prevent their acquiring nuclear weapons for the duration of the deal. You noted “the Kingdom’s leadership role in the Arab and Islamic world.”

The two of you affirmed the “need, in particular, to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities.” Now, you throw us a curve ball. You accuse us of fomenting sectarian strife in Syria, Yemen and Iraq. You add insult to injury by telling us to share our world with Iran, a country that you describe as a supporter of terrorism and which you promised our king to counter its “destabilizing activities.”

Could it be that you are petulant about the Kingdom’s efforts to support the Egyptian people when they rose against the Muslim Brothers’ government and you supported it? Or is it the late King Abdullah’s (God rest his soul) bang on the table when he last met you and told you “No more red lines, Mr. President.”

Or is it because you have pivoted to Iran so much that you equate the Kingdom’s 80 years of constant friendship with America to an Iranian leadership that continues to describe America as the biggest enemy, that continues to arm, fund and support sectarian militias in the Arab and Muslim world, that continues to harbor and host Al-Qaeda leaders, that continues to prevent the election of a Lebanese president through Hezbollah, which is identified by your government as a terrorist organization, that continues to kill the Syrian Arab people in league with Bashar Assad?

No, Mr. Obama. We are not the “free riders” that to whom you refer. We lead from the front and we accept our mistakes and rectify them. We will continue to hold the American people as our ally and don’t forget that when the chips were down, and George Herbert Walker Bush sent American soldiers to repel with our troops Saddam’s aggression against Kuwait, soldiers stood shoulder to shoulder with soldiers. Mr. Obama, that is who we are.

He is a terrible president who has deliberately set out to ruin all the friendships that the USA had because he wanted to degrade the USA's standing in the world.

He even had falling outs with the UK. The only ones he didn't fall out with, are Cuba, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. That says it all.

.
Yes, free riders is exactly what you are. Supporting most vicious kinds of terrorists and getting away with it, begging America to confront your enemies and support you in front of them, expecting daddy U.S to sell all kinds of weapons to you to kill women and children, and asking the 'champions of human rights' to have a close eye on your backward dictatorships (which they do), it all means you are a free rider.

I completely agree. He has been an embarrassment and a disaster. :tsk:

Moreover the article is full or lies and half-truths. How many Syrian refugees did the Arab countries invite? When with their population density, they could have taken in practically all of the refugees. What did the coalition of 30 countries do till now, after the announcement and the surprise question from most of its members 'Are we members of a coalition?'.

Well ...

Several Saudi members were here, and we kept hinting / telling them that this is going to happen.

and now it has.

@Saudis one of the reason why so many people are hostile to you on this forum is because of your alliance with the US.

You can't encounter facts with lies. And regarding terrorism, when you google Iranian relations with Qaeda, ISIL, Hizbullat, Hasd Shabi, Huthis who combine all terror groups in the world, you will find out that Iran created and supported them.

You know what, forget about the hundreds of official reports proving Iranian relations with the terror groups, just one simple innocent question, Why haven't Qaeda and ISIL ever attacked Iran? Despite the fact that they have attacked most world countries including the ones with the best security? Why have they both kept targeting Saudi Arabia in specific?

This is what's called a proud country...

Yes we do support Hezbollah and Hashd al-Shaabi with money, arms and also we do support Houthis politically and we are proud of that, because they are crowns over your heads. But regarding ISIL and Al-Qaeda, kid yourself not, they hail from the ideology that you and your kind follow, not ours.

Stupid question, maybe because we are not incompetent like Saudi & Co and we know how to protect ourselves and kill them outside our borders. We did experience terrorism quite a lot in past decades, but we learned how to suffocate and crush them. Besides, it's the Saudis who raised and nurtured AQ, ISIL, not Iran, because if anything, they are ideological children of Saudi Arabia and pawns, sometimes they bite the masters in the back.

Besides, ISIS has not attacked Brazil, Armenia or South Africa, and tens of other countries, so they must all be supporting them secretly. We have lost soldiers battling ISIS and AQ in Syria and Iraq and helped to kill thousands of them, how many soldiers did Saudi Arabia sacrifice fighting them in past months in mentioned countries? Zero.

Priorities change with passage of time. American investor are angry due to Saudi oil production manipulation , they been doing that last many decades. Now this time they totally destroyed US oil fracking industry to punish Iran and Russia. Also US ally Nigeria bragging to save the economy due to fall in oil price, Azerbijan,Khazikistan on brink of bankruptcy, asking IMF for life line, Venzi economy under water.
Imagine a small Colorado oil company pumping and selling oil 48 dollar a barrel in market. It went down to 13.50 a barrel. Few weeks back company sold its barrel in dollar and cents and file the bankruptcy. Obama alone doesn't take decision alone, US govt take action according to economic indicators. US policy is very clear , it always fight war of interest and old saying of American govt " there is no permanent friend and there is no permanent enemy". US govt protect its interest first , either its Republican or Democrats.......Like read statement of US General, who said, some of our allies are very emotional and expect us to overrun drawn lines.,

I disagree, they're terrorists. And I don't expect an Iranian whose country is an internationally recognized terror state itself to say otherwise. Regarding Qaeda and ISIL, check google, you can find numerous reports from many countries and agencies proving Iranian strong relations with the two groups, not to mention Osama bin Ladin's diary.

Ah, so because Iran has the world strongest security agencies, niether Qaeda nor ISIL could conduct any kind of operations in it, tell that to a chimpanzee and it will ROLF right before you. And regarding Saudi incompetence, I doubt that you really mean that especially after what they have accomplished in Yemen and Iranian humiliating setbacks in Syria at the hands of Saudi-supported rebels that compelled it's super hero, Qassim Sulaimani, to run to Moscow to beg for help before rebels could crush them.

Admit it, Iran is so incompetent and pathetic to win anything let alone against Syrian rebels, it's like flies that gather over a dead carcass or very sick creature after being attacked by somebody else. Such country gets nothing but the one's utmost contempt.

Zero.

Saudi Arabia was the one among other few countries that created the coalition against ISIL, and have been bombing them since then. The aforementioned countries aren't even in the Middle East, and have nothing to do with it. It's Iran that was supposed to be #1 enemy, yet they've never ever tried to attack it.

Obama is the greatest president, USA had in the past 100 years. equal to FDR.
Americans will look fondly, remember Obama's reign in the future.

here are some of his highlights in decreasing importance

- Obama saved the US economy (in fact the world economy), which was right on the precipice in Jan 2009 shedding
approx half a million jobs every month
- Obama saved the housing market
- Obama did not start any New wars(imagine a Mccain war monger, bomb.. bomb.. Iran song he sang). McCain gone
senile.
- Obama killed Osama
- Obama signed agreement with Iran
- Obama re-opening ties with Cuba
- wind down Iraq
- wind down Afghanistan
- US economy now strongest in the world.
- US now one of big oil producers, crushed oil through Shale.
- Obama starting Electric car and Solar revolution, going to revolutionize energy industry.
- Obamacare, has it's plus and minus points.

The only mistake I see is he stirred hornet nest of Libya. He blindly believed the English and French.

Read the Atlantic magazine interview with Obama, he single handedly prevented US intervention in Syria. His own cabinet members Kerry, Hillary, all his bureaucrats wanted Obama to finish Assad. All M***Fu***ing war mongers

Even the Saudis, French, UK were egging him to act against Assad. No more of this shit.
if they want to do it, go do it yourself.

President Obama’s Interview With Jeffrey Goldberg on Syria and Foreign Policy - The Atlantic

Hillary & Kasich will continue the old philosophy previous to Obama.

No more freeloading. US needs to go Isolationist. Africa and Middle East is Europe's, Russia's and GCC's problem. Let them lift the weights.

@Horus @WebMaster Mods should not be making half baked, stupid statements, which run against Pakistan's national interest, and foreign policy.
