In just last seven days in the city of Quaid, more than 40 people have been killed by the “un-identified” gun men, who come hit and run. The dead belong to various parties including MQM, ANP, Jamat-e-Islami, PML(N), PPP and the Tehrik Sunnat.
LAHORE: Provincial Minister for law, Rana Sanaullah has said that MQM is responsible for target killing in Karachi and urged the Sindh government to carry out a military operation in the metropolis to restore peace.
Talking to media men in Lahore Rana Sanaullah said, the party (MQM) growing on the base of corruption cannot establish peace in the city and the member who disagreed with MQM are being killed.
He said PML-N will avail the option of long March in case of non-implementation of 10-point agenda, as the intentions of few PPP members are not good in this regard.
He said that, crime rate is increasing all over the country not only in Punjab. He said MQM leaders are busy in giving statements about the incidents of Punjab instead of paying attention to the Karachi situation.
He blamed that MQM is making fool of innocent people by chanting slogan against businessmen and landlords, and people talking to enter in Punjab are losing their credibility in Karachi.
He said, army created MQM to reduce vote bank of Jamiat-e-Islami, and army operation for establishing peace in the city should be under the control of civil administration.
He also said, no matter, whether the killer of Justice Javed Iqbal parents refuse or admit the charge of killing, the fact is that, the accused was not at home on the day of murder and parents of Justice Javed also took out RS 600,000 from the bank.
