MQM/PSP -Two sides of the same coin ? (Discuss)

I was thinking that MQM and PSP (Pak Sarzameen Party) seems to be the two sides of the same coin (well at least to me)
- A political game played to bring another version of MQM to regain power in Karachi by the same goons.
Okay, so why was MK silent when MQM was doing all those crimes as he stated in his come-back speech.

Why was he silent when the mqm was burning Karachi in front of his eyes (Perhapes he could left the party), OR surrendered his mayor-ship? was he afraid to speak out? No, I think he was smart enough to foresee the party's future and was waiting for a right time to jump into this political war.
As he realized that he'll be also nabbed by LEAs sooner or later; he played the hero role by exposing MQM live on media we all know he was part of the all the crimes done by MQM in the past now acting as a saint. Also we can see all the ex-mqmers are now joining his party. Don't you guys see PSP emerging as a new MQM ? as majority of the leadership is ex MQM now. Please discuss

Well every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. This is going on all over the country. There are very valid reasons to why people tread this path, of violence, crime in a city like Karachi.

The people who are coming in mainstream can be given a chance. You have to know history to understand Karachi's situation and mentality. I respect them people, though risks exist but I give them a chance. Many of them never wanted to go this way

I hope and wish PSP could really lift Karachi up somehow and get it out of the quagmire it is in. Don't trust MQM now, never! They start to kill people afterwards and they are coldblooded target killers with no regard for anyone's life.

I am from Karachi, even though i hate MQM i do have alot of friends who are in MQM or support MQM, some of them support MQM because their families have been supporting MQM ( these are the blind supporters ), but some of them are in there with good intentions, they think that the only way they can improve Karachi is through the political power of MQM, they don't like the gangster nature of the MQM but in their view they have no other venue to be able to help the people.

Yes these are two sides of the same party ................... it was bound to happen because MQM always had two sides one London Rabta committee and one Pakistan Rabta committee, unfortunately their Pakistan side was always held hostage to decisions of London side ...................... more to do with because London side had control over militant wing.

Adults take up path by choice, in MQM entry was easy but exit was difficult. People should have thought over before joining.

PSP will not do anything good as they are rebottling the old wine. MK is absorbing the body of evil while condemning the head.

But maybe we are not reading the simple things correctly, Mustafa Kamal is asking for a package of same sort given in Balochistan and FATA, for the target killers and etc, etc. Maybe that is in place, or that might happen. We don't get the bigger picture, then again we don't know half the shit we are talking about.
I was quite sure of this ban, actually happened before i thought it might. Hopefully PSP gets rid of this terrorism element and give Urdu speaking a community a better image.

Most of the time we look for a short term solution to any problem, long-term affects are never given much thought. Lets hope for the best.
