For god sake, the person/mistri that built my grandfather house in the city of Bahawalpur was Afghan. And he is a family friend to this day. He was the age of my uncles when he began to build it. Like 16 years old.

You and me are different in age and from different areas. Mene apko bataya he na ke ye apke ilakay ke Afghan tazaa he border se. Meray ilakay me kitna saal'o se re rahay he. Iski bus difference kar ke socho. Aur ye bhi socho ke hath me panch ungliyan barabar ne hoti.

Those types only exist in Afghanistan. They call Pakistani Pukhtoons 'gul khan' for being loyal to Pakistan. They know Pukhtoons here want nothing to do with them.

Then openly they will state preposterous things like Afghanistan and India should take half of Pakistan each, or mock Pakistani government/military as 'punjabis,' and they call Pakistanis 'daal khor' but love even more 'daal khor' Indians.

These ultra nationalist BS Afghans are the worst, akin to Hindu radicals like BJP. The Afghan Tajiks and Parsiwans, though, are even worse in their hatred for Pakistanis than Afghan pukhtoons.

We may need a few generations to get this poison out of their system and accept Pakistan as a reality, like Indians have had to.

Here is the reality of the situation. There is no precedent in the entire history of the world where a nation successfully holed themselves up by building a wall to stop the neighboring nation. The Great Wall of China today lies in the middle of China, not at the border. India still complains about infiltration. Even America has been unable to build a wall. The only successful attempt was the wall built by Zul Qarnain, and that wall was made to be torn down one day, on the command of Allah the Almighty.

One should strike the iron while it is hot. Today, there is an asymmetry between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Instead of capitalizing on this, we are still sending young men to American military institutions on our own expense. Our naval chief expects Poseiden aircraft. And we still 'firmly stand for peace and stability in Afghanistsn'. There is only one way to have a peaceful and stable Afghanistan that is beneficial to Pakistan: take over it, instill good governance, educate them, and bring prosperity so they don't feel like 'have nots'. Unless this is done, everyone from CIA, to Mossad, to RAW have free reign to shape public opinion in Pakistan. And they are masters at this game. If the situation is left as is, we will go to war with Afghanistan just before India attacks us as well. Two front war indeed.
