Thank god it's not Hindu or Christian involvement. They are only making a bigger mosque. Why people have problem - I think it's only pseudo intellect who have no relation to heritage but only tame pass.

FYI it was declared as one by your own law and was a grade A structure so here the point is not of faith but of following law dealing with architecture.

Under the law grade A structure should not have been even altered but it was demolished altogether.

Why not? As per West Bengal heritage commission act, any structure with historical, architectural, environmental or cultural importance can be granted with heritage status.

And FYI the real alarming issue is that now this will make it as a highly motivated Muslim area ."Construction of the new mosque has been going on since last year. It is spread over an area nearly 10 times the plot on which the heritage mosque stands."

So 1300 Muslims can pray at the same time !!!! Later it will become Heritage Holy Islamic town ?..? ...? FYI FOR GOD SAKE
