Violation of the ceasefire agreement at the Line of Control (LoC) from the Indian side continues as Indian troops once again indulged in unprovoked shelling and firing in the Bajwat Sector of Sialkot on Sunday, while Pakistani troops retaliating to silence the Indian guns.

According to reports, Indian forces resorted to unprovoked firing at all the check posts including Narowal and Patoli Check post.

Pakistani armed forces responded in a befitting manner which ultimately silenced the enemy's guns.

Security officials said the Indian security forces used light weapons and resorted to heavy mortar shelling on the Pakistani check posts in Sialkot’s Bajwat sector and civil areas.

Chinab Rangers retaliated in a befitting manner silencing the Indian guns, officials said.

No fatality was reported in today’s hour-long firing and shelling which is continued since Wednesday in different sectors of Sialkot, targeting civilian areas and claiming lives of two Pakistani soldiers besides loss of properties.

Pakistan and India had declared a ceasefire in 2003. However, Indian troops’ violation of the ceasefire has become a routine now causing great tension at the LoC.

No response from your both sides on this problem. Don't know who started this LOC firing first. How to create suitable atmosphere when leaders from both side don't want to talk. If firing on LOC didn't stop then it will arise complications in relations.

First time President said something about LOC firing. Don't know why our politicians have shut their mouths.

War is not an option. We should go for peace talks first.

There is no point even if leaders talk , i believe the border firing incidents are completely out of control of both govt.

Maybe true of maybe not.

At least we can try. There is never too late.

 Seems like there is nothing in stock for future peace...

I need to understand why is all this happening? There could be two scenarios

Scenario1 - India is acting aggressively on the LOC
- India has lost in Afghanistan and they are looking to engage Pakistan on the Eastern Border so India may gain some leverage on the western side and in Afghanistan?

Scenario2 - Pakistan acting aggressively on the LOC
- Pakistan has achieved sufficient level of military comfort on Western Border and in Afghanistan and it is ready to poke India on eastern side assuming its the payback time?

There is no doubt that India+America in Afghanistan have kissed the dust but even then, there are two possible leads from that situation. I am Requesting ONLY senior and unbiased members to reply.
