When Prime Minister Imran Khan decided not to field candidates against Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir, it didn't mean he agreed with PTM's actions but that we need to go to every extent to not alienate a segment of our society.

As most Pakistanis I also disagree with PTM's tactics but it's important to understand what they say and why they enjoy such strong support in rural Pashtoon communities.

The time when Kharqamar incident took place, I had a friend over in my city for his holidays. He belongs to Turi Tribe and is one of the most patriotic people I know. Serving at Leepa right now at LoC.

We had a discussion over the incident and he asked me a simple question; what if for some reason people protested in Lahore in front of an Army check post and 15 people were killed by the troops, would all of us have the same reaction to the incident as we had for people who died at Kharqamar. They were Pakistani too.

Anyways, to cut the story short. Here's what MNA Mohsin Dawar has to say about the unfortunate incident. Let's be civilise and discuss how things can in the right direction.

No, it is not the State's duty to interfere in my life as long as I am not harming anyone or breaking the law. Pakistan will follow what Qauid-e-Azam envisioned for us on Aug. 11th, 1947.

Attacking a check post with weapons is illegal and those people should be shot. Big deal if they are Pakistanis. Muslims have fought with each other since time immemorial.

I am muhajir . Countless Muhajirs have been killed by Police , rangers and army because they were wrong. PTM is not special just because they are pashtoons. You take law into your own hand, attack a checkpost and kill a jawan. You deserve to be shot and killed. No mercy for miscreants.

Take your BS else where. PTM is a terrorist organization. Dawar and Mohsin should have never been allowed to be in the assembly or election. These crooks used to support drone attacks. NDS refused to handover the body of that shaheed to state of Pakistan because of PTM.

PTM is an ethno-fascist party that is pissed because they got wrecked by a " so called punjabi army ". It is funny they call Pak army a punjabi army because pashtoons over-represent in the army compared to their population.

That's one idea. I mean, we have tried to silence them. But is it working? Or will total annihilation work?

When a segment of society is sympathetic to a cause. What strategy do you deploy there except use of force to counter it?

As Prime Minister says and I agree, deal with the problems cashed by PTM and counter the narrative.

You're right, Ali Wazir is also influenced by the same ideology. Pakistani Pashtoons have a history with it.

Yes they are . So is BLA , PPP , MQM , ANP. The funny thing is , all of these parties are ethnic parties. Their founding fathers made these parties for their own ethnicities. Later , these parties morphed into ethnic supermacism.

ANP , PTM are loy shoy type pashtoon. Their loyalty lies more with afghanistan than Pakistan. They are liabilities . The earlier we get rid of them , the better it is.
