So? RSS is not an elected body, they have zero authority. And you know what happens when an elected PM dilutes his authority and allows third parties to share power & authority and interfere in the governance without any public accountability, are you sure Modi wants to become a Singh? He has to face election again.

In any case, the present government doesn't have enough numbers in both the houses to amend constitution.

It's not about beliefs, we have a robust system in place to keep a check on such temptations, we didn't give Modi a mandate for lifetime, he said that he will deliver good inclusive governance for all, now he will find himself to be the biggest stupid if he tries to act smart, remember, BJP got only 31% votes for 282 seats, and Congress got 19.3% votes for 44 seats, only 4%-5% votes here & there and the result can be completely different, so he should be careful and concentrate only on what he was elected for. I think Modi is smart and he is already giving nice statements for Muslims, RSSwalas will be disappointed at the end of the day, many of their expectations are already in cold storage. @SarthakGanguly will disagree though.
