Mixed race marriages

How common are mixed race marriages amongst british pakistanis.In my town i used to have an friend who married a east european girl.Whats the chances of such marriages working in the long run.

well if you Like or Love someone what's wrong in marrying Him/her? if the Love is true and you really care for your Partner then the marriages can run longer... Above all it's trust that bound 2 together with each other....

When there's no trust and love between couple then the marriages breaks even if the race is same....

There is a big problem with mixed marriages in our community

As they tend to be a result of BF/Gf relationships & hence not supported by mothers/fathers/families in general

The relationships progress to a point and then if they become serious the problems of
Parents, families, expectations either end the relationship or worse force it underground

Mixed marriages tend to be Pakistani guy and some other community girl

If its done with parents consent then they tend to more better

Most stable mixed marriages i have seen are when partner becomes muslim and marriage is blessed by family/parents


I have also seen stable mixed marriages amongst friends where the girl dose not convert but there is massive stigma

Amongst the community they always get tagged

As boy who married gori/sikhni/hindwani

cant comment on britain as i have never been there.
here, mixed marriages are no longer an issue as long as there is give and take and respect.
religion too should not be an issue.
in South africa, in general moslems dont marry outside, if they do, it will be after conversion. Some cases i have seen it last a lifetime and others not at all. Those with arranged marriages same issue. One marriage that made news in Johannesburg moslem community - lasted only 3hrs.
At the end it is all a roll of a dice. Same probabilities.
