Military still plays bloated role in Pakistan's politics: Hina Rabbani Khar!

The Army isn't stopping the elected government, federal or provincial, from reforming law enforcement, local government and investing in basic infrastructure and services.

The Army has a vested interested in preventing any real challenges to its authority to emerge. Confining the civilians to a sandbox fenced in by the Army is a recipe for persistent failures of the whole country. There is no way to sugar coat this bitter reality.

Again - where is the tangible and credible evidence that the military is stopping the elected government from investing in and reforming local law enforcement, judiciary, healthcare, education, transportation, power, government services etc?

What specific initiatives in the aforementioned areas have the elected representatives taken since 2008, that the military stymied or 'vetoed'?

Again, your disingenuity is intentional to hide the illegal exercise of authority by the Army by meddling in politics and foreign and defense policies, while controlling its financial empire. It does not matter, since the truth is self-evident, whether you and those who agree with your mindset accept it or not. I have no problem with that. :D

Verbose replies lacking substance are not a substitute for actual facts - again, what specific initiatives to invest in and reform governance, law enforcement, education, healthcare, transportation, energy and government services has the military stymied, blocked, vetoed etc since 2008?

The verbosity is entirely yours, Sir. The reality speaks for itself. I am out of this discussion with you here. :D

In other words, you have no credible facts or specifics to substantiate your claims of the military preventing, stymieing, blocking the civilian government from investment and reforms in improved governance, LEA's, judiciary, education, healthcare, transportation, energy and government services etc since 2008.

Lmao! What kind of koolaid does the Pakistan Army feed you? Contradictory statements galore!

The ONLY reason the armed forces appear to be 'least' corrupt is because THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY with regards to their expenditures so NO ONE can really find out how much corruption is taking place. Its commonsense..

So in your opinion, anyone not singing praises of the army is a 'western oriented slave'? The army that gets all its goodies from the West as well as its marching orders on Waziristan, etc is doing whose bidding?

The ONLY slave mentality on display here is YOURS, a slave to the generals.

There are many more like him here on PDF, just the the few posts above. However, those claims do not and can not change the reality.

'Reality' is not verbose allegations lacking substance - you've provided no facts or specifics that help substantiate allegations that the military was/is blocking or stymieing elected government reforms in governance, LEA's, judiciary, education, healthcare, transportation, energy and government services etc since 2008

. .
And yet some people still insist it does not.
I can see the sun rise from a particular direction (call the direction whatever man-made name you wish), what I can't see are any facts or specifics on how the military has blocked the civilian government from investing in and reforming LEA's, judiciary, healthcare, education, transport, energy, government services etc since 2008.

.
Yeah, the PTI dharna was just a three-ring circus from the past. :D

. . . .
Regarding Kashmir, she said she “would be very happy if the Kashmiri people get the choice to choose between Pakistan, India or even an independent state” — a third option, which is not included in the United Nations Security Council Resolution on the dispute.

As if the civilian government has any authority to resolve this issue without the khaki blessing from their overlords.
