I don't know how old you guy's are but in the next 50 years Europe will consolidate the entire European littoral states including most of Middle East in some overarching structure. Expect something along the lines of Pax Romana like the Roman Empire below.

This will include all off North Africa. The reason is strategic. Washington, London or Paris are not going to let China move into this vital region. Having Chinese Navy bases in Tangiers, Algeirs, Benghazi, Alexandria or Tartus are stuff of nightmare for NATO planners. So despite Flamer et al moaning and b*tching the strategic compulsions will prevail. In those circumstances these migrant populations will be the leverage used to influence those countries top toe the NATO line.

Despite strategic planning you can't convince the population of those countries not to have 3 wifes and marry their daughters at 16...it's a cultural thing.....

These are people receiving the even lower subsidies when not or no longer eligible for unemployment benefits, pension or any other income support (e.g. because they have no employment history here and hence have never paid into the unemployment benefits or pension systems from their wages), while also not having any savings or property or income from gainfull employment. Often you find in this category e.g. single mothers with underage kids, who've recently been divorced, and very long term unemployed (no longer eligible for unemployment benefits > the unemployable). Being on welfare often has very little to do with inclination or willingness to work.

No problem though,the penalty for not taking refugees is 0.002% of GDP...so,we'll pay you 40 million euros and you can integrate them all in your hippie multicultural society.Good luck with that when they'll be blowing themselves up at an Ajax-PSV game.

It took two world wars. 50 million dead to integrate Germany. It took trillions of dollars and living on the edge of nuclear holocaust for 50 years to free Eastern Europe and integrate it into Western Europe.
