Met Office Warns Pakistan Will Not See Spring Season in the Future

same prediction were made for middle east but opposite is happening after more then 100 year snow fall in egypt and also in some part of sauidi arabia

Don't know about that.. maybe this will help. We are doing our bit, more than our bit actually. Being a smart Alek is all very fine, but its better if you walk the talk.

India unveils the world's largest solar power plant

Images have been released showing the sheer size of a new solar power plant in southern India.

The facility in Kamuthi, Tamil Nadu, has a capacity of 648 MW and covers an area of 10 sq km.

This makes it the largest solar power plant at a single location, taking the title from the Topaz Solar Farm in California, which has a capacity of 550 MW.

The solar plant, built in an impressive eight months and funded by the Adani Group, is cleaned every day by a robotic system, charged by its own solar panels.

Inside Story - Solar power - bright future?

At full capacity, it is estimated to produce enough electricity to power about 150,000 homes.

The project is comprised of 2.5 million individual solar modules, and cost $679m to build.

The new plant has helped nudge India's total installed solar capacity across the 10 GW mark, according to a statement by research firm Bridge to India, joining only a handful of countries that can make this claim.

As solar power increases, India is expected to become the world's third-biggest solar market from next year onwards, after China and the US.

Despite the fast-growing solar power industry, India will still need to increase its take-up of solar panels if it is to achieve the ambitious targets set by the government.

By 2022, India aims to power 60 million homes by the sun. It is part of the government's goal to produce 40 percent of its power from non-fossil fuels by 2030.

This aim has been praised by environmental groups and is hoped will also help reduce the country's problem with air quality. At the beginning of this month, the pollution level in the capital New Delhi reached its worst levels in 17 years.
yeah nice one but we have a better one

The Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park is a photovoltaic power station under construction in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, named in honor of Quaid-e-Azam, the founder of Pakistan. Once fully completed it will have the capacity to generate 1,000 MW.[3]

The first 100 MW were commissioned in May 2015,[4] and were completed by Tebian Electric Apparatus, a subsidiary of Xinjiang SunOasis.[5] The remaining 900 MW capacity will be installed by Zonergy under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.[5] Carbon emissions are expected to be 90,750 tons per year less than if the 1,000 MW of electricity were generated by conventional fossil fuel sources.[5] Another 300 MW were connected to the grid in June 2016.[6]

Despite this report you guys are looking for coal power plants while the whole world is moving on to renewable or green energy sources. Something you guys need to look into.

India produces 70% from coal while Pakistan 1%, don't lecture us. Pakistan is replacing furnance oil plants with coal ones.

.
Yeah there you go, attitude.:lol:And you produce 65% electricity using oil and Gas. I think you need a lecture. Why look at India on each and every thing to compare. You wanna do the same thing we did.
Since you put India, we are moving on to Solar and nuclear power plants. Both are environment friendly. We will scale down our coal power production. Thats why I said everyone is looking for renewable energy. Not the same old Coal power plants.
the time you will convert to renewable energy then talk india still have power shortage and there is no project on large scale to overcome where we are reducing oil and gas import and usage by converting them to coal planting largest solar parks many wind power plant and many hydro electric power plant till 2018 energy shortage will be history where you people still going to live with energy shortage and wont going to overcome any time soon and talking about renewable energy

.
You chaps need to invest more in wind, solar and nuclear. You've got 100+ 'atum bums'. Don't think there is need for more. Focus your nuclear power plants towards energy creation. Clean energy is only way to ensure mankind survives another century.
india's huge coal power plant in rajistan have increase temperature in pakistan. and indian sates close to it. Many died in both countries due to this rise in temperature. 71% indian electricity is produced using thermal power plants nuch ore than what pakistan uses.

temperature rise in Pakistan is directly related with dirty neighbors. Remember Smog few months back.

Mass deforestation in Pakistan is the cause & because of which desertification threat is on the rise. The corrupt Governments have done absolutely nothing to protect the forests & trees are getting cut down at mass level. Where some countries like Philippians, Thailand & other countries are finfing modern ways for aforestation like bombing seed pods for forestation, Pakistan thanks to corrupt politicians is walking in the opposite direction.

.
Unlike you, we don't have power cuts over the entire country. The problem with Pakistan is not lack of production, but the ability to transmit and lack of enough power grids.
We have power surplus which we sold to Bangladesh:lol:. Get your facts straight bruh! India is building more nuclear power plants. In 20 years we will have more than 20 Nuclear plants. You should be pushing for Nuclear power. It's relatively cheap, low maintenance and almost zero pollution.
you dont have power cuts :haha::omghaha: more then 300 million people in india dont have access to electricity many states face up to 7 hours of power cuts

https://www.quora.com/What-Indian-cities-are-having-load-shedding-electricity-and-for-what-duration
where in Pakistan there is no load shedding in many areas of big cities in just 1 year we were able to cut power shortage by half and in the end of 2018 we will going to generate more electricity then we need about 10,000 MW more energy

your knowledge about nuclear power plant is little. nuclear power plants needs more maintenance then other power plant due to its side effects in case of any leakage can result millions of dead and making that area useless for thousands of years and also its need huge amount of water. now you people are absolutely stupid in maintaining those power plants http://www.dianuke.org/accidents-at-nuclear-power-plants-in-india/ where in pakistan chasma power plant is th world best performing power plant int the world gets YOUR facts rights

I said we don't have power cuts over the entire country. Learn to read:lol:. Yeah I saw you made power surplus by not supplying enough power and zero load shedding in many areas (whatever that 'many' areas mean)

You don't need to teach me about Nuclear power. Copy pasting google will not make you a nuclear power expert. The nuclear power plants have great safe guards. There is much less accidents compared to hydro electric plants or coal. It requires lot of water, and that's why most of the nuclear power plants are situated near water bodies fortunately we have enough water for the purpose. Maintenance is insignificant in a nuclear plant other than regular safe guard checks. In coal powerplants, there is always a lot of waste which are very harmful. Nuclear waste is very much less in the amount compared to waste produced by coal. That too with very less energy efficiency. It's funny you declare Chasma to be 'worlds best' while there is just two. Regular bragging.
Next time when you put internet source avoid this kinda rap

you are not more then a troll i have already given you how bad is india's condition in energy crisis in return you just said a statement no prove no nothing as usual regular indian who dont know the meaning of prove please bring some prove then talk and dont bring it from indian propaganda sites
now nuclear expert! how come low pollution results in low maintenance ? where maintenance of nuclear power plant is highest compare to other power plants
https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Power_Generation-nuclear_Power (these are prove that i am not making thing )

Are you serious? This is about global warming and 1/3rd of the World's energy is generated via coal. What the hell has this got to do with Pakistan's coal plants? India generates more energy from coal than every other country in South Asia put together and demand for coal in India is rising.

Read this you Indian hypocrite. This is why you Indians make me sick.

obsessed pests lecturing Pakistan on coal is like 100 chohay kha k billi ganga main dubki lagany chali.

. .
I never said anywhere we have 100% efficient power supply system. We only have 2% shortage. Though many of the house holds don't have electricity. We are moving towards fully electrified villages before 2019. Don't ask why I said we sold surplus to Bangladesh it's the two states near BD, Assam and WB since it is more economical to sell than sharing inside India.

These are not propaganda. This is media reports. And media in India is mostly left wing. Probably you are ignorant about the left wing in India. Here, only the media tries to paint government in dark sides.

I still stand corrected, and you can read from the wikipedia about the maintenance. I got IATA websites confirming the same. But I think it's better you read this. Precisely the fifth line from top. Also the further lines. Enjoy.

Lastly, in the main post (first post) I only explained Pakistan should move to renewable energy and you tried to drag India to it, as a flame bait, may be. You don't know what is a troll I guess, if the laughing emoji's hurt you I can remove them:-) May be it's better when you read it without the emojis.
Peace out!

May be you didn't read this. Move on
1) please read the article you are sending it is saying you have energy shortage in peak hour 3.6% and overall 2.1% its for those areas in which electricity is supplied not those areas which dont have electricity, you are saying india is going to move to renewable energy while coal demand constantly is on the rise
http://observer.com/2016/03/indias-looming-energy-crisis/
https://www.worldcoal.org/what’s-driving-india’s-coal-demand-growth
these are the list of new thermal power plant under construction in india most of them are coal, oil, gas power plant
http://www.industrialmarinepower.com/-3-2794-list-of-upcoming-thermal-power-plants-in-india.html
go anywhere in the world they will say the same thing india is not going to built any new coal power plant after 2022 where you compare to Pakistan which not going to built any new coal power plant after 2020 but no one said they going to cut their demanded on coal or convert to renewable energy till 2030 please try to read and understand the articles or any information clearly
2) try to justify your answers with prove from a unbiased source and yeah i know how much your media is left wing have some examples

http://indianexpress.com/article/wo...tan-in-Azad Kashmir-russia-clarifies-3047234/
reality

3) please read the article it clearly saying if we compare the cost of making nuclear power plant and its fuel cost its maintenance cost is low but ,making cost is very high compare to its maintenance cost
maintenance of nuclear power plant is comparatively is very high cause it need 24/7 surveillance need nuclear scientist which have to be experts for it please read more about nuclear power plants

4)most important thing pakistan is building renewable energy plants we are generating 1370 mw from nuclear power plant but many new plants are under construction so till 2020 our total capacity from nuclear enrgy will be 5,570 about 5 times and 8,800 is planned which going to be constructed after 2020
there are 7 renewable energy project will be completed till 2018(many hydro power plants, wind farm ,solar parks are active so these are the new one which are under construction) compare to 6 coal power project
http://pakchina.pk/energy-sector-projects-cpec/

5) i call you a troll cause you are just saying thing rather then giving some prove

peace out:tup:
