That’s exactly how all deals start & mature in to compromises.

Personally, I have held the belief that Imran Khan has already achieved more than he possibly could have or should have.

The last thing he can do or rather must do is set these points that I have listed above as his stated policy goals & election manifesto, even if he does not intend to follow up on them at all. Set the ball rolling for public discourse & someone else to pick on & push for.

Set the narrative for public accountability & methods of accountability for the all powerful.

The report by itself actually does not say much, and needs the results of the tests that it recommends to actually arrive at any robust conclusions that would stand up to any honest scrutiny. Any professional that jumps to conclusions based of of this report alone is merely speculating, nothing else, unless there is more information forthcoming.

Having said that, I know how things go during remands in Pakistan, so what is being claimed may very well be true. Further, there are ways to inflict torture without leaving any physical marks if it really were the intent. But the report in the OP is simply not enough to conclude that with any scientific certainty. Anybody who wants to enforce their own biased speculation is an immature hack, plain and simple.
