Pakistan should appreciate McCain as much as it can because he's a rare breed: someone who likes Pakistan. Much of it is due to the fact that McCain has been serving in Congress since the early 1980s. And as a hardline Cold War warrior, he supported Pakistan and war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. This explains his soft spot for Pakistan.

Not so other Republicans, many of whom were elected to Congress after the fall of the Soviet Union and who judge their world view through prism on global war on terror. For them, Pakistan is a waste of time and money and not a friend at all.

There are proofs that US backed the Military coup in Turkey.
Ummm it is Edrogan who brought Turkey to such a powerful position.

I fully agree with Senator Mccain. The general should continue. Sharing intelligence with India about terrorists sneaking into India is no small achievement. He is genuinely trying to improve relations with India.
