KARACHI: Funeral prayers for singer-turned-evangelist Junaid Jamshed will be offered at Moin Khan Academy in Karachi at 2pm today.

“Maulana Tariq Jamil will offer Junaid’s funeral prayers,” a family member told Express News. Junaid was among the 47 killed as a PIA aircraft crashed in Abbottabad.

His funeral prayers were also offered at Noor Khan Airbase on Wednesday evening. Junaid was travelling from Chitral to Islamabad in flight PK-661 when the aircraft crashed near Abbottabad, killing all 48 people on board on December 7.

Earlier, the televangelist’s brother Humayun Jamshed and mentor Maulana Tariq Jameel received the body from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad.

Junaid Jamshed’s legacy lives on

Junaid’s body was identified by forensic experts through dental history and face x-ray on Monday. He will be buried at Darul Uloom, Korangi in Karachi.

Your post shows level of your ignorance. Tariq Jameel brought him back to Islam. Due to Molana he left Haram and came to Halal and yes that is why enemies of Islam and enemies of ALLAH and his RASOOL SAW hate Molana Sahab. As for Junaid Jamshed he was martyred in way of ALLAH he would in Jannah with shifat of RASOOL SAW sitting with him and haters will keep hating so who cares. @Salik
