Bengaluru: A massive fire broke out at a car parking area near the venue where Aero India 2019 is being organised in Bengaluru's Yelahanka Air Force Station on Saturday. Media reports have said that around 80-100 cars were gutted in the incident.
"In total, about 100 cars were burnt in the fire. The fire spread has been controlled by creating a gap by removing adjacent cars. The fire is under control now. There are no reports of injuries or any harm to people. We suspect dry grass fire aided by heavy winds as the likely cause behind the incident," Karnataka Director General of Police MN Reddi said.
