LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz is likely to join the political stage in Balochistan, The News reported.

As per the report, the PML-N leader has decided to play a major role in Balochistan politics and expressed her commitment to addressing the sense of deprivation in the province.

Sources said that Maryam had been invited to visit Balochistan in a meeting with former Balochistan chief minister Jam Kamal and Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar, on Thursday.

Kamal and Kakar recognised the powerful political role of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter, emphasising that people of Balochistan admire the former prime minister dearly, sources added.

They emphasised that Nawaz and Maryam’s presence and engagement could significantly contribute to bringing about a transformative change in Balochistan.

On the occasion, the PML-N chief organiser highlighted the party is diligently implementing comprehensive and tangible measures to uplift the province and ensure the participation of its people in its development, the sources said.

بلوچستان کی ترقی پاکستان کی ترقی کی بنیاد ہے، مریم نواز​

حکمراں جماعت مسلم لیگ (ن) کی چیف آرگنائزر مریم نواز نے کہا ہے کہ بلوچستان کی ترقی پاکستان کی ترقی کی بنیاد ہے۔

مریم نواز سے سابق وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان اور صدر نیشنل پارٹی ڈاکٹر عبدالمالک بلوچ کی سربراہی میں وفد نے ملاقات کی۔

نیشنل پارٹی کے نائب صدر کبیر احمد، سیکریٹری جنرل جان بلیدی، سینیٹر طاہر بزنجو، سینیٹر اکرم، ایوب ملک اور اسلم بلوچ بھی وفد کا حصہ تھے۔

مریم نواز اور نیشنل پارٹی کی قیادت کے درمیان ہونے والی ملاقات میں ملک کی مجموعی سیاسی صورتحال اور باہمی تعاون بڑھانے کے معاملے پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔

دوران ملاقات ڈاکٹر عبدالمالک بلوچ نے مریم نواز کی سیاسی جدوجہد کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔

ن لیگی چیف آرگنائزر کا کہنا تھا کہ نواز شریف اور وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے ہمیشہ بلوچستان کی ترقی کے لیے کام کیا ہے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ بلوچستان کی ترقی پاکستان کی ترقی کی بنیاد ہے، بلوچستان کے نوجوانوں کی ترقی اولین ترجیح ہے۔

مریم نواز نے یہ بھی کہا کہ سی پیک، گوادر پورٹ، مغربی روٹ سمیت دیگر منصوبے بلوچستان کی ترقی کا ذریعہ بنیں گے۔

اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ وزیراعظم یوتھ پروگرام کے تحت بلوچستان کے نوجوانوں کو آگے بڑھنے کے مواقع دیں گے۔

ن لیگی چیف آرگنائزر نے کہا کہ تعلیم، زراعت، صنعت، انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی (آئی ٹی) میں نئے کاروبار، روزگار دیں گے، کھیلوں میں ترقی کے مواقع دیں گے۔
