Marlon Samuels with ssg : "This is what the gangster life is like"

I don't understand how professional soldiers tasked with important national security have the time to take selfies.

1). These soldiers are in their motherland and have every right to enjoy themselves, as they wish.

2). May be you will find it easier to identify with this:

If you want you can find any thing negative out of any positive. They are assigned to demonstrated and entertain their guest. Its the hospitality nature of Pakistani people whose match is rarely found in west. For national security, for sure other soldiers were already doing their duties without any doubt.

I think they were there for security not for vacation. They are fully armed.

Not trying to be negative at all, just an observation.

Please don't compare South Asia to the West. In the West, law enforcement and security shows basic courtesy to everyone regardless who they are. In South Asia, the "hospitality" you speak of is reserved for the rich and powerful. Everyone else gets the end of the stick. Kiss up and kick down is the hallmark of our culture.

These were SSG Paratroopers, who were not on official duty for security....they just demonstrated the jumping....

well the context here is SSG and SSG gives max respect to their guests regardless of any thing.
