I always find it interesting that even in super veggie power 2020 India, food bloggers almost always flock to the delicious meat section of India.

Tbh the spices prevalent in our region elevate ingredients to culinary delights. After that it mostly comes down to preference.

Meat has a global consumer base, making it much easier to contrast and compare with local dishes.

Don't knock the vegitarian dishes over here though, as good as meat is, a lifestyle with a more balanced nutritional lifestyle is more doable if the vegitarian dishes are comparably taste worthy.

Odd, I don't see the other 72% getting lynched. Or does that rule apply to Beef.
Many people eat beef and pork in India. India is too diverse a country to typecast.
In states such as Goa, Kerala and northeast states everyone eats meat.

What an odd comment to make.

It's like you think all of humanity is perverse and consumes only unhealthy meats and nothing else.

Humans are omnivorous, meaning to be healthy we need healthy vegetables and meats.
Over consuming meats or vegetables are unnatural and unhealthy.

Interestingly, you can be healthy by consuming a 100% animal diet, ie Inuit people in Norther Canada or the Masai people of East Africa.

However it is impossible to be healthy on 100% plant based diet.

But only Muslims get lynched for it.

By spice, if you mean hot-chilly then yes, from my experience North Indian food is hotter. South Indians add coconut milk to reduce the heat.
But if you compare other spices, like cardamom, pepper, ginger etc... then it's more or less the same. Changes with food. If you're looking for sweet dishes then North and North Eastern India have better ones.

Forget Pakistan and India, there is a change in food if we travel from one state in India to another and that's thousands of varieties.
