Meat has a global consumer base, making it much easier to contrast and compare with local dishes.
Don't knock the vegitarian dishes over here though, as good as meat is, a lifestyle with a more balanced nutritional lifestyle is more doable if the vegitarian dishes are comparably taste worthy.

Absolutely. Northern regions have a tendency to sweeten their food with mismatched spices, or even just plain sugar. I've always found it wanting in spiciness.Wow those meals look amazing. South Indian food is more spicy than north?
