Maoist along with its alliance of 30 party organized a huge mass gathering in Kathmandu, Nepal this Saturday.
Here are some facts about this mass gathering which you'll not find being mentioned in foreign media.
a.Maoist are on streets because they want to draft constitution by consensus and not by two-thirty majority. Two third is a legal worldwide accepted procedure because 100 percent consensus between political parties is never possible.
b. It was maoist who dismantled CA 1, announced for election, came into people asking to give then two third majority so that they could draft constitution if possible by consensus if not then by two third majority within one year.
c. Maoist and its alliance have nothing in common except that they are all in opposition and managed to garner few votes compared to ruling party. They have less than one third seats in parliament among which maoist alone comprises 80 percent of it.
d. Maoist planned to bring 2 lakh marchers on street , out of which around 50000 appeared on streets. Maiost who has disregard for votes cast during CA calls "this" the proof that they have people behind them. A quick follow up through social media gives you a look that people are still pissed at Maoist for their animal like behavior in CA hall. On one poll organized by leading magazine in Nepal, Maiost are least liked.
