Vietnam can never replace or match china. The sheer skilled manpower with china is something even the US don't have. Infrastructure, facility and connections are other aspects. At most vietnam can have a piece of the pie and improve it economy and military.

China only chose to build up the infrastructure and logistics for its close allies, not to the hostile countries.

1st: did CPEC help Pak export more than 200 bil $ per year like VN yet ?? If not, then its a CN debt trap to take away Pak port like in Srilanka.

2nd: US has warned VN abt high trade deficit. So, we r trying to reduce the number of factories in VN now. CN factories r not welcomed in VN

Just move to other nations and let US slap sanction on the countries letting CN factories in.
