Israeli Defense sources say that Turkish companies and organizations prefer non-Israeli cyber solutions. In one case, an Israeli cyber company sells several proof of ability (POC) to prospective clients in Turkey.
In the end, customers chose non-Israeli solutions, although the POC results of Israeli solutions were better. "We realized during the demonstration of the ability of the customer that they prefer not to buy Israeli solutions," says a source who preferred to remain anonymous.
This is a relatively new phenomenon, since in some cases the marketing of an international company located in Israel also deals with Turkey. However, in the case of an international solution (American or European) the problem of nationalism does not exist compared to a blue and white solution.
The sounds of the cyber industry in the context of Turkey come on the back of a decline in the volume of export-imports between Turkey and Israel, as reflected in the Central Bureau of Statistics data. This appears to be a combination of political tension along with the effects of the Corona epidemic affecting business decisions in Turkey.
