Call the developing defense relations between Japan and ASEAN whatever you like. Its taking place which means your original statement of "firmly opposed" is incorrect. Why would the president of a country visit Japan's largest warship if "firmly opposed"? Because he isn't. You are thinking 1+1=3 and trying to make others believe 1+1=3. This is another good example of "living a lie". To be "firmly opposed" would have to be backed by official statements. Where are the statements that you claim to exist? There aren't any. All you can do is post more 1+1=3 rubbish.

Now if the context of the situation changed, such as China dropping the 9 dash line claim, then it is likely that Japan and ASEAN defense relations would slow down, stop, and perhaps even retract. It's China's decision...
