Malaysia to ask Bangladesh to take back Rohingya refugees found at sea

Everybody loves Palestinian because they're white skinned, so much uproar over Kashmir from Malaysia but no empathy, hell forget empathy they are barely showing any sympathy for the rohingya.

Where is that retard mahatir and his ummah ummah talk ? Fool resigned and shot himself in the foot like the idiot he is.

.
Why cant they train them up with skills and put them to work.

.
Bangladeshi government and Bangladeshi people in general have always underestimated Myanmar. Still now the people of Bangladesh are laid back and thinks that this Rohingya problem will be solved in days.

Our government is basically running more on superiority complex and less on reality.

Also Tamils are suffering more in Sri Lanka. Why don't you speak about that too.

A way over simplification of a complex issue, which involves linguistic supremacy against nationalistic chauvinism.. You're grossly misinformed.. The Conflict on the island had nothing to do with ethnicity or religion but Language

Constitutionally Tamils have no discrimination towards them, Infact they have more rights than in India, Only two countries in the world recognize Tamil as a national language and one is Sri Lanka, In India it's only a state language

Not denying there is systemic discrimination still going on in the island but it's no more or less than whats happening to minority communities all over the world where they exist in significant numbers.. It's certainly not legalized discrimination like in Malaysia viz a viz Boomiputra's

Malaysia is a racist country it's true. They are racist particularly towards South Asians. Bangladeshis don't do well in Malaysia.

There is discrimination everywhere-The depth and degree of discrimination varies- I think overall Srilankan Tamils are doing much better now. Tamils who want a separate Tamil area within Srilanka are free to leave to TN instead, its no different to what is happening within Kashmir and India should not be a hypocrite here, very happy to see Srilanka on the path of recovery. Yes-The conflict is for Language, nothing to do with religion or ethnicity.

No, we don't (or rather should not) want them. They are largely not lovers or well wishers of India. I have talked at quite some length to some here in Canada, its not nice subject what they are thinking...when you even think you have reached some point with them in first place and they cooly rip it all up just minutes later.

The SL Tamil refugees that have already arrived (in TN) over the decades, we have to focus on improving their often sordid situation first before even thinking to taking any more in.

Overall, SL will have to rehabilitate and improve every relevant integration with the legacy inertia of (minority) separatists and extremists found among its Tamil populace....as much as possible using its solid (majority) Tamil bulk population who are looking to better future now....leaving the nightmare behind....and letting time also help with the healing as it recedes in rearview mirror.

No quick easy fixes here....this rift was very very nasty deep wound...after all it was near-severance of a limb.

Thus the scar tissue will take long long time to go back to full normalcy...however that shapes up in long term stages.

I wish the best for SL on it....it pains me to think and dwell on what happened to SL. This jewel of an island.

Whatever the solution, India won't figure in it. This is Sri Lanka's to fix, whatever it has to do. And what that is must be decided by them. If they are OK to develop a diaspora that hates them and keeps snapping at their heels, I'm sure they'll develop ways to cope with that.

With the conflict over which is beneficial to every Lankan except for those separatist elements in the West, The main challenge now is to create a Sri Lankan identity among it's ethnic groups.. But as with rest of South Asia ethnic identity politics is the main impediment to it

General population gets on well, It's the politicians of all sides that's making if difficult for the common Sri Lankan

@Joe Shearer as for the Pro separatist diaspora even though they have massive finances to lobby NGO's and lobby groups their influence overall is in the wane, In few more years they will be totally out of the equation imo

I do not deny that. It is for Sri Lanka's citizens to work out how to cope with the diaspora, whether effective or clinging on to a separated existence for ever and ever.

Separatism is unattainable now than what it was two decades ago, When Kosovo and East Timor managed to do with all the global West supporting it, So the sooner these LTTE elements realize this and make themselves productive citizens of the countries they adopted the better

But ofcause there's billions of $'s involved in the campaign that was in existent for nearly 4 decades and so many organizations involved legal and illegal, It's not a easy thing to subdue
