As you can see nearly all your exports are agriculture, natural resources like oil or low tech items like clothing and footwear. With another 22 years, BD would at least be able to match Indonesia and this without the assistance of abundant natural resources like oil.

BD can produce nearly all it's own light engineering like TVs, fridges etc and pharmaceuticals for it's domestic market. In 22 more years those things that Indonesia does it will be able to do easily - remember BD GDP/capita is growing at 6% a year now on a consistent basis.

The big difference between BD and Indonesia is your abundant natural resources that BD lacks. Indonesia exports many tens of billions of dollars of oil, rubber and timber anually and still is only matching what BD is doing after same time period of independence.

Indonesia is not doing any better than BD, even with the huge bonus of it's natural resources that BD does not have.

If you come to SL and observe, you will see very diverse reaction to the Rohingya issue. We have a set of Buddhists who support Mynmmar solely because of the religion. At the same time we have lot of Buddhists who are very vocally critical of what Mynmmar does and even justify the actions of the militant groups. So the whole Buddhists do not have one single opinion, it is varied.

I personally think Mynmmar was wrong to remove their citizenship, at the same time if any third party had given the Rohingya people arms and motivated them to cause trouble, they are putting the lives of Rohingya in trouble.
