I should apprise you that Malaysian PM himself said that they, UNFORTUNATELY, cannot confront China on Uighur issue because China is too strong.

If it's all about disputed territory then cry about disputed territory, and don't make human rights a scape goat for justification.

Apparently Malaysian PM also says he prefers China over US cause China is more reliable, world leaders say many things to to accommodate different people at different times. It's just natural that China Malaysia relations far outweighs some far away so called Uighur issue to him. Not one single Muslim leader speaks of Uighur at UNGA, so picking on him makes no sense.

None of them spoke about Uighur atrocities by China.....Mahatir even said we have strong relations with China hence can't comment (see link below)....Pakistan can't even utter a word against China.....Courageous my foot. It is just cherry picking.
