Lynk & Co to roll out 10 new models by 2020

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, a car brand spawned from the relationship between China's Geely and Sweden's Volvo, joins the car exhibiting fest in Guangzhou by showcasing the Lynk & Co 01, 02 and 03 that have been released by far. It is reported that the automaker plans to roll out a total of 10 new models by 2020.
The ten new models to be released will cover a wide range from the sub-compact segment to the large-sized segment to meet consumers’ diversified demands. Up until now, dealers who submitted franchise applications have already exceeded 2,000. A total of 185 outlets have been put into operation and 113 outlets are under construction. In the future, Lynk & Co's presence will extend to around 220 cities in China, even penetrating into the so-called third or fourth-tier cities.
Moreover, the Lynk & Co branded vehicles are to be manufactured in Europe in the future and will join the 2019 WTCC (World Touring Car Cup) in Morocco as a contestant.
At the Auto Guangzhou 2018, the automaker handed over the 80,000th Lynk & Co 01 car with a special ceremony. The Lynk & Co brand gained a sales volume of 15,207 units in October, up by 2.2% compared with the previous month. The sales of the Lynk & Co 01, 02 and 03 were 8,476 units, 5,766 units and 965 units respectively. For the first ten months, the brand's YTD sales amounted to 102,308 units in total.
