Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, ex-ISI chief, decides to retire early

Some people are raising doubts about how appointments are being managed. I am just reminding them that we are seeing results.
Well, not all decision are not excellent...some are good and some are bad. If Pakistan is still in trouble, it means some bad decisions have been made too.

. . .
Pakistan's current plight is 99℅ politicians' fault.
hmmmm I can't say for sure about the percentage but just to let you know that I consider Poop Musharraf (the coward rat) responsible for most of the mess the nation is in today. His joining the WoT under the most despicable terms and conditions, his letting NS go Scot-free, his signing of the NRO and letting the corrupt politicians come back into Pakistan and rule it again, his support of almost dead MQM to become a powerful terrorist organisation again, his stabbing of Kashmir freedom struggle, ...etc are just a few of the reasons that make me thing he is the main culprit and rather the mastermind behind the current turmoil.
None of the politicians is/was capable of doing any of that.

NRO gave the politicians a fresh beginning. This was their chance to save Pakistan. Instead, they completely destroyed it. I am not a Musharraf supporter at all, but just as I give credit where credit is due, I also put blame where blame is due. Anyway, this discussion takes us too far from the matter at hand: are decisions being taken correctly today or not? For now, I think we are in very string hands, Alhamdulillah.

Wow (slow claps)...What a logic...why not extend this kindness and general amnesty to all the petty criminals: murderers, thieves, fraudsters...etc?

A person has to be an ISO-certified fool to trust the corrupt politicians. That means he lacked the vision to see... despite having access to all the reports from ISI, MI and other intelligence about their involvement in corruption and collusion with terrorist organisation and anti-Pakistan elements?

And what about the other points?

Read again. I never said Musharraf did anything good. But taking his actions and painting the whole army with the same brush is a logical jump, i.e. a fallacy. After Musharraf's wrong step, the blame lies on the politicians themselves, not the army. Where is your rationality?

My rationality is 100% intact mate. If you use the right spectacles and read again...where did I say army is responsible...Can you show me? I clearly mentioned his name...with the suitable adjective...Poop Musharraf.

So read it again.

Rather this guy (Musharaf) didn't even take his corps commanders into confidence about his decision of joining the WoT and handing over Jacobabad airfield to USAF. He is a coward rat and now hiding in UAE.

So, today's problems are 99% politicians because Musharraf was 10 years ago. Don't blame events of 10 years ago entirely for current situation.

Well I am seeing people praising Rizwan Akhtar for fixing up KHI.

During his tenure as DG Rangers Sindh. No Ranger dared to act against the MQM goons and it was the hard work of Bilal Akbar who came up and banged MQM like no one else. Rizwan Akhtar's tenure as DG Rangers was nothing but a drama.

.
Dr. Shahid Masood just now "Pre-positioning is going on and we are seeing the practical elucidation of 'Silence is also an expression'". Expect more changes at topmost level in coming days.

So will you enlighten us what time scale in the life of the nation is long enough to diminish the effect of certain actions... It seems that ten years is a long time in your consideration..

Forget timelines, hold each person accountable for his own actions. Take the total number of persons whose actions lead to current situation, then (total number of politicians responsible / total number of persons responsible) * 100.

Dr. Shahid Masood's parting words: If the new Chairman NAB doesn't do his job, he will become irrelevant. If Courts working under the Constitution cannot bring Justice, they will become irrelevant. In such a scenario, if Marshal Law comes, it will be the first Marshal Law in Pakistan and Article 6 should be applied these people who are systematically breaking down Democracy.

And how to assign the right weight factors to the actions because I say that

All_bad_deeds(NS, AZ) == 0.001*bad_decision_by_PMush

That's your weighting. Every man is fully responsible for his own actions, and every man has played an equal part. If you know Musharraf's plan is injurious to Pakistan's interests and you blindly follow it, you are now as much guilty as Musharraf for fulfillment of the plan.
