“Collaboration with Israel has helped India manage cyber security issues over the years,” said R K Raghavan, the former head of CBI. He was speaking at a conference on cyber security held at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) office in the city on Friday.

Raghavan, who is currently an advisor to TCS on cyber security said that the main issue now faced by India was access to information. “The chief problem is access to information and how we control the flow of information on cyberspace. Israel has made giant strides in this aspect and there is a lot to be learned from the world leader in cyber security,” he said.

Consul General of Israel, Menahem Kanafi, who was also present at the conference, delivered a presentation on how cyber security is handled in Israel. “Compared to India, Israel has a different approach towards cyber security. While India formulated a policy and then worked from the policy to establish a ground work on cyber security, we started from the ground up and are, in fact, only currently formulating a policy,” he said and added that Israel was currently the world number one in cyber security and a global leader in privacy protection.

The Consul General also informed the attendees that a large part of Israel’s defence network worked on information security. “While cyber security is often divided between civil and defence aspects, Israel takes a holistic approach including both, which enables better coordination,” he said.

The main aim of the conference, according to the organisers, was to bring to notice the important issues in cyber security and provide a basic knowledge of the different aspects of information protection to the delegates. The conference, which was conducted by the Cyber Security and privacy Foundation in association with TCS, was also attended by ‘Gemini’ Ramamoorthy of CSPF and top management of TCS.

the times of rothschilds is over.this is a mere fiction.

the fact is that they are genuinely very intelligent ppl and right now receive good funding from usa and remain as usa's pivot in middle east taking care to suppress any muslim partnership in the region.

the interesting thing is why did they dominate the banking so much??

answer------just loke in islam, even in christianity originally usury(interest) is banned so when banking system came in to being with getting money for gold in early times, catholic church told christians to stay clear from interest as this was against god's will.

jews had no such belief and thats why they dominated banking in those times

. .
Retarded argument.

i only praised israel if u read my above post on banking.

actually our capital delhi alone has more than 8 million population and i am actually dumbfounded at israel's success.

one more reason i think is that in holaucaust only brilliant ppl who could help germans in different fields survived and thus this pool of 8 million was formed of those ppl eventually

. .
No Bro unfortunately its not.Not so much in India but around the world, they still do.
trust me on this

its a myth,it may be true(and was true) 150-200 years ago but not anymore.
the familiy itself has got the money divided into so many family members that consolidated net worth is not too much left.

yes, some indivisuals may still be billionares but thats pretty much they are nowadays.

i stand by my comment that israel is a damping force for arab world and am actually quite happy that they keep control of those volatile countries

What population has to do with technologies? According to ur dumb argument India should learn only from China, coz all other countries have small population compare to it.

looks like u are high or something

i said its astonishing that a 8 million population country is leader in drones and radars.
whats wrong in it??

8 million is fairly small population.

and yes nations with more population have more manpower at their disposal, who denies that??

the only thing being israel has optimized its research to a very high level and that is something i as an indian would want from india too

Well Israel is good in some fields like any developed country.

. .
Yes men we all should learn from Israel. Especially the nationalism (I think so).:enjoy:

. .
Just like most of the developed world- India could learn a LOT from Israel. Naturally the size and contextual differences mean that some lessons cannot be directly applied but there are still a lot of parallels India and Israel can draw upon. India should particularly adopt the Israeli national security mindset, that is aggressive and responsive. A mindset that has been crafted by Israel's unique history of course.
