So before I start this thread, I just want to state clearly, openly and honestly that I am not a homophobe, each to their own. But earlier today I was helping my cousin set up his daughters new tablet. As part of her school curriculum they have to do homework on a internet platform called "class charts", so my cousin purchased a brand spanking android tablet for her earlier this week and like some dad's didn't get around to setting it up lol.

Anyway, I set up the tablet and my niece who is 9. She then asked her dad if she could install a videogame app called "TocaBoca" a game all her schoolfriends are playing these days. For those who don't know (like I didn't know either) lol... Tocaboca is very popular in Europe with children as a creative sandbox platform.

The company states: Toca Boca, a hugely popular kids’ app maker, has grown to over 170 million downloads across its line of 38 apps, which 13 million children use every month. The company's own website states "Toca Boca is a Swedish app development studio focused on child-friendly applications for tablets and smartphones. According to the company's website, "We make digital toys and games that help stimulate the imagination.".

I digress... It was all pretty harmless at first, I download the apps and set up google family link so my cousin can monitor and approve any apps my niece wants to download, and limit her screen time.

An advert then popped up for DigiFun which I clicked on and low and behold this is what I was greeted with:

What the actual F!!! I thought to myself, how is this "child" friendly, especially considering the average age of children playing Toca Boca is between 5-9, these sort of militant messages are nothing short of the tablighi jamat equivalent of LGBT movement.

Anyway, I installed an ad blocker on her tablet, and explained some basic principles of internet safety to her, my cousin and his wife who are lets just say, less than internet savy. I also showed him how he can block keywords, websites and view which apps are being used by his daughter at any time on her tablet.

I also give my cousin and his wife a link to a website with excellent resources for parents and children on internet safety and being careful about content and keeping children safe. https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/

Point of the thread is, please be mindful of your children's devices and what they have access too.

man... i did not know anything about the coffeemoffies until i was conscripted. I had a pyscological questionaire - asking me 'if i liked women' - hint it did not say say men or same gender. i did know of a few who were found out. During our time, we had severe mental counseling plus chemical treatment. some committed suicide - I did question what good that did.
Similar questions - about faith in god etc. if you said you were agnostic; there was a weekly session with your designated priest, mullah or rabbi.

however, where i draw the line is exposing kids to this gomorah mindset.

Oh I have to agree, in policing too. This is what a serving Superintendent of police did to his police issued custodian helmet during a pride march:

Rightly so he was ridiculed by many because the helmet is part of the Queens uniform and carries the service crest, it is public property, policing is meant to be unbiased and neutral - "without fear or favour".

Like I said, what anyone does in their personal life is really none of my business, but when you start pushing it in peoples faces, especially children, that's where I draw the line.

I had the same experience with my 11 year old and a game called Roblox. My child asked me what pride month was and said the game said "happy pride month".

I then had to explain it all.

I said when the human body goes threw changes in puberty one of those changes is the development of attraction towards some people of the opposite gender. I explained this attraction is part of what helps people decide if they want to marry someone or not. I explained that people who have not been through puberty don't have the chemical changes to thier brain to have these feelings.

I then explained how in Islam the correct way to express those feelings is through marriage, not in haram ways like how goray have girlfriends and boyfriends. I then explained that some people have this feeling for the people of the same gender and that is called homosexuality. I explained that acting on those feelings is haram.

I said until recently in Western cultures they looked down on people who held those feelings and treated them badly. I said those people started a campaign for awareness and equal treatment and they call it the pride movement.

Pride month is just something they've made up to promote thier own way of life.

After all that, I got a silent pause followed by "Well that's a stupid thing to put in a kids game - we know nothing about it".

OP can only complain if there was some nudity or pornography or some questions of a sexual nature which are supposed to be not suitable for little kids.
In the eyes of the west the topic of LGBT is no longer a taboo. It's widely accepted as a reality with gay marriages being allowed.
To them it's similar to a quiz like "six signs you are an introvert".
They are feeling proud that from the very early age they are helping little kids to explore who they really are.
That's the problem of brown englishmen like OP living in the west. On one hand they try to defend a place where they grew up or spent most of their time but on the other hand they really didnt completely became part of that culture and mindset. Feeling sorry for such people who are confused and facing identity crisis.

The west has gone all open about these subject homosexuality they consider it to the norm in few years . They are pushing their agenda from all directions especially media , adverts magazines and festivals, carnivals and through literature..They want the future generations to be like these homos .
Even at my work place there are strange people like that.
