Lockheed Martin has been awarded $41 million contract to procure, deliver, and install Gap Filler Radar to Jordan.

Contractor will provide two long range radars, and three upgrades to existing long range radars, and integrate new and upgraded radar into the overall command, control and communications system, the US department of defense said in a statement Friday.

Work is expected to be complete by April 30, 2018. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to Jordan.

We are better off then buying from US. I know many people think that US tech is out of this world... this and that, but let's be honest it cant be trusted, just like all others they will give watered down version and these too will come with 1000 strings attached. Pakistan recently purchased radars from China.

When counties can't get U.S. stuff they settle for Russia or China.

I am not saying we should buy from USA..but still we should by them from some one else...the very first step to tackle a threat is to detect it...n if we start buying these systems , our capability will enhance many times.
