oh the thread is getting very interesting

the g think is also part of our slang/dialect

a funny thing is that sometimes our people say "nüriyon" ne yapiyorsun or

banga sanga
bana sana
but banga is seen as very extreem redneck language

but the most interestring thing is for me does anybody except me really know what ilbiz/elbiz means? thats a word wich I just only heard from my region even my wife from next village did not know what it means..

Bala using in other Turkic countries as i know instead of çocuk. Also Velet is not common in Turkic nations.

Even we are still using this word in our language while jumping to our childreen. Hoop balaa...

oh yes I did not notice it..

my mother uses bala when she loves children for excample my little girl.. "benim balam.."

but mostly cocuk is used.. and if you are angry you can say veled

Did you guys knew that Çocuk is generally used for Piglets in old Turkic it hada wider meaning, like smaller of everything but its mostly meant Piglet

now that i think of it, i have heard my relatives from Nevsehir using words like Hayat, Caput, Corek, Tosbah, Peshgir too.
At home we use some of these words too.
Interesting to see Bala. As far as i know, many Turkics use this word for child, even Azerbaijiani bros, if im not mistaken, but undortunately many Turks use cocuk (origins?) or velet (Arabic).

Türkmenler çağa der, Tatarlar bala der. Çocuk domuz demek Türkmence. Bebe, hint Avrupa dillerinden geçme.

It's a weird word.

We say "hörümçek". In my native dialect we also use "böv" for larger sized ones.

There was a time the history teacher was claiming that Bögü meant Wolf. I resisted saying böri meant wolf. So i remember it very well.

pants = balaq / julvar
Dress = koynek
pillow = yassiq
blanket on bed = yorghon/yorqon
Mattress = korfenche/korfenge !

well we use ballim or balliem for little kids but in general we use oghlonjiq(little boy ) or chaqa/chagha which means kid , for little kids !we dont use chochuk !!!
