Never heard of that ! According to many of your compatriots we - Pakistan - are as Islamized as they get; we've got them showing throughout the year especially during Ramazan.

Majority of Muslim organisations in India are against preaching Islam on TV but common Muslims like Islamic content on TV.

I don't speak for them but because there are about the same sects and sub-sects in India as they are in Pakistan and Bangladesh it probably isn't a theological reservation.

Why do you think ANYONE on this forum would have the slightest capability to tell what is Halaal and what is Haraam?

I'll just drop you a hint at great peril to my flimsy faith: if the video isn't being stored and only streamed, then there isn't any difference between it and vision through eyesight. The Taliban might have banned cameras earlier (they're apparently using them now with gusto) is because once a picture is stored, it could enter into the same category as a statue, and end up idolized and worshipped.

Wow the Talibobs thought this much...a great out of box thinking.

Anyway thanks for the explanation.

The Talibs did not have to do the thinking. This is the general position of the people here in Khurasan (Central Asia) and the Indian subcontinent. Afro-Arabic scholars have been, on the other hand, quite relaxed with photography.
