No there is no SC/ST discrimination in Andhra.
I don't even know castes of some of my friends.
Religiously intolerant? well we pride in being hindus, thats all.

No....bt some higher caste people think they r superior...
N abt religion.... most the intolerant people r Christians.... they teach hate in some churchs
They is a church close to my house.... once the preacher said all the hindu gods r servents of Jesus... n Hindu gods do things for money while jesus do it for free!!!! Lol

I was educated in a christian college, had many christian friends went to many good message festivals, churches and participated in many programs of theirs, but what i noticed was outside in front of normal hindus they talks as if they love everybody, but inside they talk very bad about hindus and their gods , insulting, i knew all these because my christian friends though i became a christian due to being with them for many years, so they used to spill out everything while discussing in their chrch or friends.
In their minds i was already a christian convert.
So, thats how i have a real life experience of what goes in front and what goes in the back in churches and meetings

I was talking about corruption though. In Tamil Nadu and the former Andhra pradesh these states were second and third in India interms of the GDP. So more money for the politicos to loot.

same deal with some of the Muslims. I lived in Malappuram district, a muslim majority district in Kerala. Some of the Muslims would be outwardly put up a front for tolerance. But one of my Muslim friends (who wasn't religious) said some of these folks would talk trash about other religions as well.

I am impressed with the judicial system in India..but going by the reaction of TN masses to this decision, it seems they are a lot backward than the rest of india...

Anyway Jaya will come out in bail with in a week. I expected O.Panneerselvam will become next CM, but local channels are reporting some secretary (IAS officer) is gonna be the next CM. Still the fact is, the CM is going to be the one pointed by JAYA, no body dares to question Jaya in her party still.

She might be guilty, but she is the right one for the CM chair at present. It would be great if some IAS officer took charge rather than Panneerselvam, he wont even stand straight before jaya.

there are other states in India which are far more backward.

But the major weakness of tamil politics is this legacy of personality cults and hero worship.
