What's new

Lets talk about feces!

You should also mention what language(s) those words are from.

In pure Tamil, it is called : Malam , Naragal
The widely used words are: Aai and Pee

Sandaas is Marathi

Tatti and Hug is Hindi (though Hugna is the common verb - not sure if its commonly used in noun format, maybe some north Indians can comment)

Paikhana is Urdu (I think)

Cool!
Thanks buddy, I am really enjoying here in Shanghai where I was studying for more than six years. It's great to be back, although just 3 days.
Today the weather is nice!

And now I am transferring from line1 to line5. This suburban transportation hub is really impressive(Xinzhuang Station), ( also an ideal place to take photos for railway, a long foot bridge over Shanghai-hangzhou Railway).

I hope every city in China, especially cities in Central China and Western China can achieve the current level of Shanghai. Really impressive and motivating!

This is the only thing I can give full credit to Modi. He has invested himself well, and is driving it well. On this one program, I can say Modi has done better than any other PM before him and his priorities are right.

Most of his other stuff is garbage.

Great! More on this topic
  • In Shanghai the current legislation governing the public lavatory is CJJ14-2005-J476-2005 (construction standard, environmental compliance) by PRC legistation and DG/TJ08-401-2007 (allocation, operation) by Shanghai legislation.
This is a 1.33km x 2.00km (2.66 sqm) grid showing where public lavatories (the red dots) are built and operated by the Urban Department, excluding those operated by private sector and public utility companies e.g. SH Metro. SH Bus Corp

  • Also there is an NGO - 上海市公共厕所协会 (Shanghai Public Lavatory Association) - that helps legislation setting and supervises government execution.
  • Various apps can help find nearest lavatory like Baidu, Amap or even can try a free app developed by the Association "公厕指南 (Lavatory Guide)" which provides a lot more info from operating hours to facility details.
