What's new

LCA Tejas was developed faster than Rafale, Eurofighter & F-22

. .
Thanks for appreciation.

I can very well understand your point of view, because all that comes to you is via media and from internet where there are many chest thumping trollers also sometime unfortunately there are bravado statements from responsible posts which gives more flair to chest thumpers.

Having said that Tejas as a project at best is a countries effort from ground level to build a fighter aircraft. Where they have tried to build entire infrastructure. The word indigenous has be seen in that context. Other than that its very well known that no country can ever claim that every part of fighter jet is built by them. In current world people buy components from various companies who specialize in certain aspects and then build up the aircraft.

How good as a product Tejas is will be ascertained by its customer, whether it meets the requirement or not.
But what the entire exercise has resulted into is building up a very vast high tech industrial setup. From metallurgy to avionics, from components to frame structures. All these industries where absent in the country. Now these companies are learning new things and delivering the results. Sooner or later there will few companies out of these who would turn out to be world class.

Unlike in past where India did JV with Russian company to buy and build entire aircraft with them, this time the JV are more at component levels. PAKFA was kind of JV program that you had, but it for now looks gone down the drain.
See thats very logical and everyone would agree. Welldone.

Why is Tejas being compared to Rafale, Typhoon, F-22? All of those have indigenous engines and radars. Tejas does not. Tejas uses imported engines and radars.
Tejas is much better. You know nothing like me

. . .
Tejas is junk. It's too small.

Still a junk now...the work horse is a 2tonner PSLV. That's like Chinese capability in the 80s.:rofl::rofl:

Eagerness to open up mouth at times lands up in dust...control yourself..
And thats GSLV MARK III 4Tonner.. ..

Oh by the way Space X was not even in concept in 1980's ...what took you so long, still stuck in 24tonner while spaceX sending across 64tonner... I guess stuck with Junks ...

I said work horse...gslv mkIII is not a work horse with 2 launches. :enjoy:. We do have a 14 tonner now, but with 2 launches and one failure, it's not exactly a work horse. And we have a 100 tonner CZ-9 in the works, engine tested.

There is nothing wrong with that. Infact quite humbling. You are not ssying indigenous cycle are you? Yiu are saying look how we started and thatd just fine

Viny...

U r a smart guy...you dont need to defend bullshit.
In pakistan we are developing or aviation industry with the resourse at our disposal. We are doing joint ventures with many companies and countries but chiefly China. This is no secret. Now where the problem lies is the Indian claim the wheel is square and Tejas is indigenous. Nothing new as even your scientist claim stem cell were discovered by indians and Newton etc were talking bile. If thats the case why is india a third world country with people dying of hunger. No sanitation and a cruel and evil caste system still in place
.the world is laughing because we all know nothing indigenous about the teja. Why thump your chest when u know know you are lying.
There is nothing wrong with buying systems of the shelf and using them to make a better product.

This is a very common, equivocal response that pakistanis usually like to give, you lot always refer to some ambiguous benefit that pakistan got because of the JF-17 whereas try to diminish all the verifiable and real benefits India has gotten because of the Tejas.

So let me ask you, how exactly has your aviation industry developed?

Did JF-17 give you fighter grade wind tunnel facilitates in pakistan? How many new aircrafts have been tested in these facilities?
You got any rcs test facilities? Any IR test facilities for the same?
Have your aircraft design facilities ever designed a whole new fighter aircraft from the ground up?
What indigenous CAD softwares was pakistan able to develop?
What CFD tech were you lot able to make because of the JF-17?
Was pakistan able to develop quadruplex fly by wire after so many years post the induction of the JF-17?
What kind of composite research is going on in pakistan that is the direct cause of the JF-17?
Any fighter grade turbine research organization in pak?
Any radar R&D organization in pak that can develop AESA radars?

I am sorry to inform you but for all of the talk of Tejas not being indigenous enough and JF-17 being a "joint venture"; as compared to Tejas, JF-17 does not have a fraction of the components in it that can be truly called indigenously pakistani made.

Hell, we make make more Indian subsystems for the Su-30MKI than PAC or any other pakistani company does for the JF-17.

At the end of the day, we realize the need for Indophobes to scorn anything we are trying to do, but realise, that it is usually the same for all of our technology clusters, be it space, missiles, submarines, ships, radars, etc. You lot mock us initially when we are struggling then we have the final product and in the process become really proficient in the field.

That's what I thought.
Spewing all that diatribe but in the end you have no proof to back up all the boasting.

Sorry to disappoint but Tejas is indigenous, maybe not 100% and you lot would like to debate the etymology of terms, but with every iteration Tejas becomes more and more Indian, that is what we are working towards. What are you working towards?
What % of the JF-17 Blk3 will be pakistani?

Basically PAC is what HAL was in 1980's and 90's, we license and manufactured, upgraded and indengenised Migs, helis, radars etc. At PAC they now call it there production under the cover name of JV. And for a Pakistan national its a big achievement and hence there is certain level of boasting without realizing how far India is on ground in real terms. Similarly like how many Indians would boast India's space capabilities in term of Chardrayaan or satellite launches and going gaga over MangalYaan. Reality is that we are like infants in the game where NASA, Russians and Chinese Space agencies have a lot more both at ground level and at knowledge level.

So chest thumpers will keep calling Tejas a failed project, and will keep projecting JF-17 and Mushaks as there success, without realizing the paths and approach taken in both scenario.
