پشاور (ڈیلی پاکستان آن لائن)وزیراعلی خیبرپختونخوا محمودخان نے پشاوربس رپیڈ ٹرانزٹ(بی آر ٹی)میں پلاننگ کاشکوہ کیا ہے اور مقررہ مدت تک کام مکمل نہ ہونے پرکارروائی کی دھمکی دیدی ہے۔

نجی ٹی وی کے مطابق وزیراعلی خیبرپختونخوا نے بی آرٹی منصوبے کی 23 مارچ تک تکمیل کے لئے سرگرم ہو گئے ہیں اسی بابت انہوں نے بی آر ٹی منصوبے کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے دورہ کیا اور منصوبے کی پلاننگ اور کام کی رفتار پر عدم اعتماد کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کھلے لفظوں میں وارننگ بھی دے دی ،اس موقع پر وہ منصوبے کی پلاننگ سے ناخوش نظر آئے۔وزیراطلاعات خیبرپختونخوا شوکت یوسفزئی نے وزیراعلی کو بتایا کہ منصوبے پرتیزی سے کام ہورہا ہے جس پر انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ کام تو تیز ہے لیکن منصوبے کی پلاننگ درست نہیں ہے۔محمودخان نے منصوبے پر کام کرنے والی کمپنی کو ہر صورت مقررہ وقت میں مکمل کرنے کی ہدایت کی اور کہا کہ منصوبے کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے ہفتے میں ہر دو روز بعد اجلاس بھی بلایا جائے گا،وزیراعلی خیبرپختونخوا نے دھمکی دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگرکام وقت پرمکمل نہ ہواتوذمہ داروں کے خلاف ایکشن لوں گا۔واضح رہے کہ سابق وزیراعلی خیبرپختونخوا پرویزخٹک نے 20 اکتوبر 2017 کو منصوبے کا سنگ بنیاد رکھتے ہوئے چھ ماہ میں مکمل کرنے کا وعدہ کیا تھا لیکن منصوبے کو اب دو سال ہوچکے ہیں،تاخیر، پلاننگ کی کمی اور ڈیزائن میں تبدیلی کے باعث منصوبے کی لاگت 49ارب ڈالرسے بڑھ کر63ارب ڈالرتک پہنچ چکی ہے۔اسی سلسلے میں 22 جنوری کو فرانس حکومت کی جانب سے بھی خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کو منصوبے کے لیے 19 ارب 50 کروڑ روپے قرضہ دینے کااعلان کیا گیا ہے۔

Imagine if they had spent all this money on healthcare and education in Peshawar, we would have been competing with Punjab.

Peshawar didn't need this BRT, KPK needs healthcare and education.

This mega project is no different than what PMLN did in Balochistan. You do these mega projects when you've the basics covered.

An example of how government projects in Pakistan get delayed if they are under immense scrutiny. If the government close their eyes and keep releasing payments to contractors without asking questions, things get fast-tracked but eventually, you have sub-standard product having a short lifespan, on your hands.

Excellent infrastructure being laid. It will reduce cost of transportation and provide quality service to millions living in city. Once it gets linked in with neighboring cities this would change the fate of millions in KPK.

For once it is an investment.
Abd won't invest in building schools. They would invest in some infrastructure project and yes peshawar needs it. How long we would karachi and lahore remain big cities. We need other big center in this area too Peshawar is a metropolis and it needs it.

After that please don't compare yourself with punjab and trust me you don't need this pathetic system.. It is no better then your in any way.
